The Forsaken Pact
In the tombs where the dead share their secrets,
In the graveyard where angels come to die,
I have seen your eyes full of regrets,
My heart whispers its last goodbye.
I see myself standing near a cross
And I can't recognize my own face
It seems that I've suffered a great loss
As I bury my last piece of grace.
I see me walking through the tombstones,
A soul defiling the purity of corruption
And as I start digging through the old bones
Hell drags me into its own inception.
I see myself falling in the lost abyss,
Looking from behind, I forget,
How to fiind hope when I'm amiss
I watch my past, it's incorrect.
I see the wings that made me a god,
And then my fall, sealed with a kiss
An evil smile, lips tasting my blood
Your beauty, a sin I'll never miss.
How can something so innocent and pure
Can wound the heart that never wounded?
And how it can deceive and lure
The soul that heavens have excluded?
I look at me, there's nothing behind,
He walks alone the road to damnation,
His future becomes his past in my mind
The moments sing about lost desperation.
When shall I rise? What should I do?
The silence around burns all the good inside
And I can only search the memory of you,
Something grows where my heart used to reside.
The story of my life bleeds tears of broken memories,
I choose the path of hell 'cause I'm afraid of heaven
And I've been here for many lost centuries
A victim of a pact I made with the unhoy seven
