Chapter 44

                    'Horrendous thoughts.'                                                     

It was now lunchtime and Pandora was going to try to see if the golden egg she managed to capture will help her in the tournament.

Entering the girl's toilets she made sure no one was there as she undressed.
As she looked at herself she noticed the marks of when she had gotten beaten up by Vernon. She sighed. She honestly thought that they looked horrendous and she hoped that the 2nd task had nothing to do with water because that meant she had to wear a swimsuit causing everyone to see her marks.  Pandora was insecure about herself, she suddenly felt like the whole room was staring at her even though no one was there so she tried to cover up herself but instantly failed.

Sighing she put the golden egg on the edge of the bubbly bathtub and sat down, instantly relaxing.  She wouldn't enter her other classes today, she felt extremely tired anyway.

Reaching to grab the egg, she jumped up as she suddenly heard moaning myrtle singing.

That's one of a voice.
Thought Pandora.

"Hello, Pandoria!"

"It's Pandora...."

"Right....how are you doing?"

"Awful now that you're here."

"It's alright if you did a mistake Pandoria, it happens from time to time."

"I didn't do a mistake!  Besides,  I'm not your parents."

"Alright, If you say so..."

Pandora stood silent. She kinda felt bad that she said such a thing, this was very unusual for Pandora as she said,

"I- 'm sorry Myrtle."

Moaning Myrtle looked up at Pandora, her eyes full of sudden brightness and joy.

"Thank you! Now we can be best friends!!
I'll tell you all about my life and...."

Pandora stared amused.

"Pandora.........I see it, I see it in you...."

"What?"

"Please stay away from him, he'll hurt you!
I can't lose my only best friend, I heard rumors about the Dark Lord! He's the reason I'm dead."

"What do you mean?"

"-I can't tell you but please listen to me!"

Pandora sighed as moaning myrtle left the bathroom to go to the other instead.

Placing the egg underwater she opened it and a terrible screeching sound came out.

She quickly closed it.

Yeah, she was better off listening to Pansy and Theo about the tournament.

She would just go with their guesses, right?
