Droplets of rain trounced down the unambiguous window, the sound of footsteps reverberating around the room. Tom had just come from a meeting that involved his death eaters and was furious, Pandora didn't dare stare into those Auburn eyes, knowing the consequences. She knew he was near from his heavy citrus cologne surpassing her nose, and tried to keep silent squeezing her eyes in nervousness, knowing she was not going to be able to hold her sass silent.
"Tom, what's happening?" Pandora Ivy's voice unexpectedly reverberated across the eerie room. Ivy instantly regretted how she was always so idiotic, she shouldn't have asked him, he was mad. Hush stayed still for a good minute before he came and sat next to her, his eyes looking at her in an inexplicable sentiment.
"Don't worry, my darling." Pandora's moss-green eyes expanded, shock coursing through her veins. "D-"
Tom's voice came to a halt, looking behind him, guaranteeing his mouth became mute as his eyebrows furrowed. They sat on the leather settee for a while before Draco barged into the room."Pandora, finally, you alone!"
Draco walked towards the bookshelf, rushing through a book. "I need to show you what that fibber is concealing."
Pandora's heart dropped as Tom slowly stood up, his 6-foot frame looming over the whole scene. Draco looked up, the citrus cologne catching his nose, his heart in dread, realising what was going to happen."My darling." Tom Turned to Ivy, commencing at her, conveying her an opportunity to leave the room.
"No, Tom." Pandora loathed this, she despised how Draco was invariably doing this type of risky shit.
Draco's azure ocean-like eyes scrutinized his lord in disgust knowing this was going to be his end.
Lucius barged into the room, his dark mark observable as he gazed at Pandora foreseeing her to leave.
"My lady, please come downstairs." Lucius had a pleading tone, his eye shooting to Draco in phobia.
"No, Tom, please-" Ivy stared into the dark lord's eyes, hazel clashing against a fiery vibrant green.
Tom's face morphed into a regrettable expression, his eyebrows furrowing before all emotions masked on his face wiped off. "Leave, my love."
Pandora slowly crept outside the room, her heart crumbling to her feet, her mind on Draco and her supposed dark lord.Ivy noticed Lucius waiting outside the room, closing his eyes shut, his crinkly old hand wandering to his heart, trying to breathe as he couldn't help but feel dreadful.
Pandora glanced at the man, her heart for once, aching.
Why didn't she have such a caring family? Her eyes watering, she rushed through the corridors, running through the carpeted stairs, portraits and paintings starting at her in pity.
Something Pandora loathed with all her heart was pity.
She hated how some people glimpsed at her with it, it always managed to nauseate her how someone could feel such a heavy sentiment to her.In fact, she abhorred those who thought of good and love in this world, it only made us weaker and vulnerable.
That day Pandora sat in the library, hearing utterances and spells echo from above, yet she did nothing.
After all, no one merited anything.
