There's a blonde hero currently moving down the long agency corridor with heavy intention.
Deep red eyes stare straight ahead. His sharp jawline tight, face twisted into a deeply serious scowl.
He hasn't even blinked, nor has he turned his head in the direction of anyone calling his name, in fact he had shoved passed most of them.
His mind is on one thing and one thing only, there is no time for chit chat or idol conversation.
No Katsuki Bakugo is on a mission, one he isn't taking no for an answer for.
He's done. Done waiting for permission to go home, done waiting for his shit replacement to reach his level, done listening to Earthquake, done staying here a minute fucking longer.
Katsuki is done.
Ever since that nightmare and him falling asleep with his exhausted nerd on the phone last night and the media coverage on the shit happening back home, the blonde made a decision, one he absolutely refuses to back down from.
Katsuki is a hero, he's always wanted to be one, ever since the days of All Might smiling his way across the screen when he was a brat he's wanted to be one.
But there is one, one green eyed boy that had always seen him as a hero even when he didn't deserve to be. One green eyed hero who Katsuki would die a million bloody deaths for if it ment saving the other. One green eyed hero who he will risk what he's about to do right now if it means he can go home and be that greenetts hero once again.
Heavy hero boots come to a halt at Earthquakes office door. He doesn't even hesitate, he doesn't even take a breath, he swings the office door open to see Earthquake look up immediately, stopping mid conversation with Arcane.
Red eyes flashing with intent stare into the ones of his boss as he stands directly in front of his desk.
" I'm leaving. I'm fucking leaving today, I'm not waiting a god damn day longer, fuck I'm not waiting an hour longer, in fact I already booked my fight home, my bag is packed and in my fucking car, I'm going home", he breathes out, unwavering, unblinking, pure determination rolling off him in waves.
Earthquake stares at him sitting all the way back in his chair as Arcane stands on the side of his desk with a shocked expression and a raised brow.
Earthquake is getting ready to speak when the blonde interrupts him.
" Bakugo...."
" Before you fucking say anything, I don't care. I really don't, I don't give a shit if you strip my hero license and I can't work because technically I broke my contract by leaving four fucking days early. If that's what you feel like you need to fucking do then do it, I'm not waiting. I'll work at a god damn gas station if I need to but I'm fucking leaving today" , he says, eyes never wavering, words coming out like fire.
Earthquake tries again.
" Katsuki..."
" There's really no God damn point in saying anything. You can't stop me, toss the damn guards at me if you want to, I'll burn this bitch down with an explosion you will never forget, but trust me, I'm going home. I'm needed there more than any shitty extra could need me here and you can bet your life on this, I'm getting there to him tonight, no more bullshit"
There's silence in the room now. The only sound being heard was Katsuki's breath coming out in near pants because he's pissed the fuck off that he's still even standing in this room.
