As some of you might notice, the picture above^ is from the cover of Keeper of the Lost Cities, Book 9, Stellarlune. I think that in that picture Sophie looks really brave. Just thought you could know! Now onto the chapter!!!

I followed Biana into her room and sat down with her on her bed.

" Are we also going to tell the Councillors that Alden is missing? I mean, if you aren't ready we don't have to say anything," I say turning to look Biana in the eyes.

" I'll ask my mom, but I think that she was already going to mention it. I wonder what dad would think of us," She pauses for a second and then continues, " You know what? It doesn't matter what he would have thought. I'm so done with people telling me what is appropriate or ladylike. They want a princess that follows the rules? Well, I'm not her anymore."

I think about that for a moment. Would I care what people thought about us? All my life, I had been the freaky girl whether because of my brown eyes and 5 powers or because I was " too smart". If we went through with this, I would become the even freakier girl, but did I care anymore? As long as I was happy and being with who I loved, I didn't care what others thought because they couldn't keep me from doing anything, fighting the Neverseen, being part of the Black Swan, I had never cared what the Councilors, or anybody really, would do because I knew it had to be done. I had to protect people from getting hurt and if I got hurt in the process, if I got out-casted, then so be it.

" You're right. Who cares what anyone thinks? As long as we're safe, it doesn't matter." I say bravely.

" Biana, the Councilors are here," Fitz's voice yells from downstairs.

" Coming," Biana yells back. She turns to me with her teal eyes sparkling with fear and excitement, " You ready?"

" Ready as I'll ever be," I answer and take a deep breath. ( A/N LOL, ready as I'll ever be song)

We walk downstairs and I manage not to trip and fall in front of the Councilors. When Fitz sees me, his eyes bulge out of his sockets. He looks so surprised to see me and his face is priceless. I have to cover my mouth to keep myself from bursting out with laughter.

"I didn't know that Sophie was going to be here," Fitz says, looking at his mom.

" Yes, well, Biana wanted her here, in fact, she insisted on it! I'm sorry if it causes any inconveniences," She says the last part to the Councilors.

" No of course not!" Oralie says before Emery can say anything else.

Biana sits down and motions me to do the same.  I sit in the seat next to hers and smile. For a little while, a silence so thick it could be cut with a knife fills the air. After a while, the talking starts and soon it seems as if there was no silence at all.

" So, we have some things to discuss. We have been wondering where our Emissary, Alden Dedrick Vacker, is," Emery starts.

Della looks startled and her eyes glaze over with tears. She sighs and plasters a fake smile on her face.

" He... Well, we think that he got taken by the Neverseen," As soon as Della finishes the sentence, Oralie gasps and covers her mouth.

" Oh gosh, Della, I'm so sorry! Don't worry, Alden is strong, he'll hold on till you find a way to save him, because I'm guessing that you have a plan?" She raises her eyebrow at me.

I blush and cover my face with my hair, " I might have a idea..."

" Ok, I think that we are all wondering this, what's up? We all know that there is something going on between you two so you should just save yourselves the trouble and just spill it," Terik says kindly to Biana and I.

" You're right, we do have something we need to tell you. Something we need to tell you ALL," Biana says, pushing away from her chair and standing up. I join her, and interlock our hands. Biana and I explain the story of how we started dating and all that. When her voice starts to crack, I squeeze her hand reassuringly.

When we finish explaining, our voices are hoarse and I really feel like my throat is the Sahara Desert. I think Biana feels the same, because she grabs her cup of Lushberry Juice and downs it in one go. I copy her.

" Well, that was a... a long story," Bronte says, mouth open, " Why did you tell us though, I know that you two aren't the typ of girls who wait for permission before doing something."

" We just wanted to tell you that this kind of love happens sometimes and you can't just control it. You're right, we don't care what you say about us because you only have one life, and you hould live it to your fullest," I say as I look at every face sitting at the table.

" Biana, you should know that I'll support you in anything you do, even this. Especially this. Sophie is an amazing young lady and I'm sure that your father would agree. You never have to hide who you like again. I hope you know that," Della say, tears of proudness and joy gathering in her eyes.

Biana smiles lovingly at her mom.

" I agree. Love is love, you can't change that. You have to take advvantage of love before it disapears," Oralie says, " I didn't do that and I regret it every day of my life."

" I think that we all think that it's time for a change. Maybe we shouldn't judge people for who they marry, or what type of children they have. By standing up to us, you stood up for every mis-judged person," Emery smiles at us.

" Thank you for saying that. It means a lot."

Yay! I actually fulfilled my goal: publishing on March 1st! I hope you liked this chapter. To be honest, I think that this was my favorite chapter. The words just flowed out of me and that was amazing! Thank you guys for being supportive, it means a lot. Another goal I acheived with this chapter: more than 1,000 words!!! If we get to 2k, I will make a marellihn chapter so try to make it happen!! Also, if something makes no sense, it's cause I'm sick today and my head is a jumbled mess. Love you guys!
