Chapter 34

It's been a year  since we became official. He's an ideal man for me. Ever since he proved himself to me. He never fail to make me happy, feel loved, feel worth it. After everything we've went through, I can't believe that I'm with him, again.

We're now at our bed, chilling while watching a Netflix movie.

"You know mahal, when we're in college. I used to dream about ending your life." agad namang napatingin siya sakin.

"Grabe mahal ah. Ganon ka na ba talaga kainis sakin" tumawa naman siya.

"I was like, I hate you! I hate your dumb voice and your stupid muscles and your awfully attractive face!" he got quiet after that. He then covered his mouth like in shock.

"Wow mahal. Ganon na ba kalakas ang charms ko kaya inlove ka na sakin?" tumawa naman siya.

"But now, mahal. I dream about spending it by your side" it made him blush HAHA! He's cute.

"You're blushing, mahal" I laughed. Umiling naman siya sa sinabi ko. "Hindi ah" he denied then I started poking his dimples.

"This movie is really scary, but you're into it so I'm trying not to cover my face the whole time, but- WHAT IS THAT?!" I immediately hid under the sheets when the scary part came. I just heard Thorence laughing at me.

"Tanggalin mo na yan!" I begged. He just sat there beside me, laughing like an idiot. He even took his phone out to record my face!!

"Jumbagin kita tamo" Narinig ko na tumahimik ang tv. Dahan-dahan kong inalis ang kumot sa mukha ko at nakita kong inalis na niya ang pinapanood namin.

"Sorry na, mahal" sabi niya habang natawa. "Ang seryoso ng sorry mo ha" singhal ko.

"Ikaw nga kapag mag s-sorry ka natawa ka rin" Sabi niya sabay kurot sa pisngi ko.

Minutes after that. Silence filled every corner of the room. And, all I can hear are the sounds of his keyboard typing on his laptop.

I decided to take my phone out and go to Facebook. Agad ko namang nakita ang post ni Madelline kasama si Tristan. She's wearing a white flowered dress. Si Tristan naman ay naka pantulog parin at magulo ang buhok. They looked so happy habang buhat si baby Hope.

I put my phone down nang maramdaman ko na inaantok na ako. Inayos ko ang kumot at kinumutan ang sarili ko.

"Mahal, I'm going to sleep na ha" Sabi ko kay Thorence. He looked at me at tumayo para halikan ako sa noo.

"Good night, love. Sleep tight"

It's 7am. I woke up, wanting to prepare our breakfast to surprise Thorence. But, ako ang na surprise. He prepared our breakfast for this hour. He cooked ham and egg and a garlic rice, paired with an ice coffee.

"Good morning, love" he greeted at lumapit sa'kin at hinalikan ako sa noo. He placed two plates, a spoon and fork. Inusog niya ang upuan at umupo naman ako.

"I hope you like it" He smiled. He took the bowl of rice at sinandukan ako. Kumuha rin siya ng dalawang ham at isang itlog at nilagay sa plato ko. Nag pray muna kami bago tuluyang kumain.

"Ang sarap, love. Thank you" I said to him.

We went to visit ate Cassie at their house. We bought toys for Rielle and groceries for ate.

"Nasaan si Vincent, ate?" Tanong ko habang nilalagay ko ang mga fruits sa refrigerator.

"Nasa work niya, maaga siya umalis" sabi niya habang pinupunasan ang likod ni Rielle.

"Thank you po, Tita Brielle!" Rielle said. I smiled at her. I took a glass of water and drank it. Kumuha uli ako at binigay kay Thorence.

"Kailan naman kasal niyo?" Tanong ni Ate.

"I'm not rushing her, ate. I'm waiting for her to be ready. Besides, 1 year  palang kami." Sagot ni Thorence habang nag s-scroll sa cellphone niya. Nakita ko namang lumapit si Rielle kay Thorence.

Hinawakan ni Rielle ang pisngi ni Thorence. "Tito, ang gwapo mo po" Nginitian naman ni Thorence si Rielle. "Sus! Kaya mo lang 'yan sinasabi sa tito mo dahil gusto mo nang ice cream." Sabi ni Ate habang nagwawalis.

"No ah. I don't want ice cream, I want to go to the zoo" Lumapit naman ako sa kaniya at binuhat siya.

"Why do you want to go to the zoo, love?" I asked. She put her hand on her head, thinking. "I want to visit my parents doon eh" She said. Natawa naman kaming lahat.

"But, love. You don't parents doon sa zoo. Sino nagsabi sayo na may magulang ka pa doon?" I laughed. "Si Tito Francis po" She bit her index finger. "He told me that my real parents are at the zoo" She smiled.

"Majujumbag ko yon" Rinig kong sabi ni Ate. "Tito Francis told you that, mahal?" Ate said. Tumango naman si Rielle.

We went to the park after that. Kasama namin si Rielle at ate Cassie. Nakakita si Rielle ng isang display nang aso. Ate Cassie took a picture of her naman.

"Next time, we'll be here again. But, not with them, with you and our future kids" bulong ni Thorence sa aking tenga. Napangiti naman ako sa sinabi niya.

I saw an ice cream vendor at bumili ako ng ice cream para saming apat. When i finished, i felt my phone vibrate. Nakita ko na tumatawag si Madel.

"Hi Mads! How are you?" I said.

[Hi Kate! I'm fine! Hope wants to see you!] sabi niya at pinahawak kay Hope ang cellphone niya.

"Hi baby!" I said. "Oy sino yan!" Sabi ni ate at lumapit sakin.

[Hi Tita Kate, hi tita Cassie] sabi ni Hope.

"I miss you baby. When are you coming home?" I asked.

[nan gwaenchana bogo sipeoyo] sabi niya.

"Ha? Ano daw?" Sabi ni ate.

[She said she's okay and she misses you too. Sorry sa hangeul niya, halos lahat kasi na nakakausap niya mga korean eh. Lalo na yung mga employees ko] sabi ni Madel.

"Marunong ba mag tagalog yang anak mo?" Tanong ni ate.

[Oo. Slight lang] sagot ni Madel.

"Turuan mo mag tagalog yan nako" Sabi ni ate.

[Say bye-bye na to your tita] Sabi ni Madel.

"Bye love. Take care, saranghae!" Sabi ko naman.

[Byebye] and she ended the call.

We went home after that. We rested for a bit. I took a shower and scrolled through my phone. I posted some of the pictures I've taken. Nag post rin naman si Thorence ng picture naming dalawa na naka akbay sakin habang kami ay nakangiti.

"Goodnight, love" I said to him. He kissed my cheeks and hugged me behind my back.
