Romanoff's POV

I slowly make my way into the staff room to be greeted by Audrey making herself a cup of coffee.
"Morning, Natasha." She says,
"I did it." I respond, she turns and sips from her cup.
"Did what?"
"I proposed." She instantly moves her full attention to me and walks over.
"Did she say no? Is that why you look so tired?" She asks, holding my arm comfortingly.

"What? Oh. No, she said yes."
"So then why... oh wow." She says as she realises, then she glances at my left hand.
"She proposed back."
"She did?" Audrey gently takes my hand in hers to look at the ring.
"Yeah, but I kind of regret how I did it. It wasn't very romantic or anything." I say, looking at the beautiful ring she gave me.

"We were just in bed talking and I decided to do it." I explain, Audrey shakes her head.
"But if she said yes and she proposed back, it was clearly a good time!"
"She only proposed because I did, she had the ring hidden, she obviously had an idea for how to do it. I guess I just wish I put in a little more effort."
"Don't overthink it too much, no matter how you propose, you're always going to think that there was a better way to do it." She says, "She said yes, isn't that all that matters?"

"I suppose." I sigh, "But even the ring she got me! She had it custom-made!" I exclaim. Audrey starts making another cup of coffee, she hands it to me.
"Calm down, Natasha. I'm sure she loved the ring you got her."
"But it was so basic! She put in so much effort and I just randomly brought it up."

"Okay, think about this though." She starts after putting her cup down on the table near us. "She said yes, she even proposed back and then, you clearly had an interesting night afterwards because you look very tired." She points at my eyes. Tired and heavy.

"Let's focus on something good, yeah?" She offers, she sits down and I hesitantly sit next to her.
"Last night..." she teases. "You couldn't have waited until the weekend?"
"It just happened, honestly. That's how it normally goes for us."
She sips her coffee listening to me, I still haven't touched mine.
"How many times?" She asks with a devious smile, I let out a sigh and start to count in my head, trying to recall all of the things we did last night.

"Six." I say after running it through a few times, Audrey almost chokes on her coffee, turning to look at me in shock.
"Each?" She asks, I shake my head.
"No, no. In total." I finally take a sip of the coffee she made me, it's not bad. "What about you, how's your sex life?"
"It's uh, stale at the moment." She says. "My boyfriend is amazingly sweet but he really only knows how to do one thing."

I smile at that, it feels better to be talking to someone. A friend.
"You need to tell him what you want him to do, or show him." I explain, she nods. "And ask him what he wants you to do to him."
"You make it sound so simple. Is that how you and you girlfr- fiancé did it?"

"Yeah. We ask each other to try things, we talk and like... I don't know. We just kind of work." I say, she nods.
"It's really good that you've found someone like that." She says.
"You don't feel that with your boyfriend?" I ask, she shakes her head.
"Not anymore. It really does make me sad that I don't." She says. We talk until our classes start, just about our lives and such.

Y/N's POV

Me, Liz and Brook walk along to a local store for lunch. Angelo and Levi haven't been seen at all today, but I don't mind. It's nice just being us.

"So do you have any wedding plans?" Brook asks,
"We got engaged yesterday, Brook."
"Yeah and you had all night to talk." She says, Liz shakes her head at Brook.
"They were busy doing other things last night." She points to my neck.

"Hey!" I quickly cover as much of my neck as possible with the collar of my shirt. "We just made out a little bit."
"You're walking like it was more than that." Liz teases, I scoff while they both laugh.
"That's actually because I fell out of bed this morning." I say, paying for my food.

"Because she fucked you so hard, right?" Brook adds, I look to the cashier who just shakes his head and takes a step back.
"Okay, if we were having sex, she would've caught me. I literally just fell." I lift up my bottoms enough to show one of my bruised knees from earlier.

We walk out of the store and start heading back to the school campus.
"That poses another question though." Elizabeth says,
"And what would that be?"
"You proposed to each other but you didn't fuck? What kind of couple are you?" We all laugh together.
"It was just a nice night!"

"It should have been a sexy night, with rose petals and lingerie and music and-"
"Please stop talking about me and my fiancé having sex while we're in public." I say, they both roll their eyes and scoff like a choreographed duo from a musical.

We walk back to the school grounds where Levi and Angelo start approaching us,
"Hey, guys!" Angelo calls over, putting his hand out to ask us to stop. We all look at each other, nod and stop.
"Did Natasha tell you that I called? I just wanted you to know that I'm sorry." He says,
"She did." I say, he looks over to Levi.

"He really did tell me not too." Levi admits. Angelo nods,
"Yeah, I think that you and Natasha are great together, from what I've seen - I don't want you to think I'm trying to ruin it." Angelo explains.
"Me and Natasha are better than ever." I say, glancing down to the ring out of habit. I can't stop looking at it.

"Is that an engagement ring?" Levi points, noticing my eyes locked onto it.
"It is!" Brook says excitedly.
"They got engaged last night!" Liz adds, both of them are practically dancing around. I'm glad that they're happy for me.

"You got engaged?" Angelo says, his eyes wide and mouth open. I nod in response. "Congratulations! Can I see the ring?" I hold my hand up and he looks at the ring.
"It's pretty." He says, gently touching it.
"It makes me feel very expensive." I say, taking my hand away from his and looking at it again.
