Romanoff's POV

I watch Y/N as she walks through the store, running her hands along the suit jackets and blazers on the clothing rack. She looks so amused by the different cuts and styles. Without really making much decisions, she grabs a few items and quickly makes her way to the changing rooms.

I make my way to the dresses, finding a few lovely looking dresses. I pick up a few options I think are nice and take them to the changing rooms too.

The first dress is a bold red number, but it's got an odd shoulder line, too boxy and Ill-fitting. The second is a black one, it's a nice look but not wedding suitable. It honestly seems more like a dress I'd wear for a night out.

The third and fourth are too tight, to an unflattering and uncomfortable amount. The fifth is just awful, a classic white wedding dress just doesn't feel right. But then, I find this well fitted red dress, not too busy at all. And with something on top of it, I think it would look amazing.

"Tasha!" Y/N calls out, "You wanna see my outfit?" She says,
"You can't see me." I say, I hear her laugh, "Then take your dress off and tell me when."
I take the dress I've chosen back off, I still need to find something to go with it but I'm not concerned about that now.

"Okay, go ahead." I say, Y/N emerges from behind a curtain in black slacks, a white blouse and a black and red pinstripe blazer over top. She looks good, amazing even, she definitely suits it.

"What do you think?" She asks,
"You look amazing." I say with a wide smile, I can't help but look her up in down. We're getting married. We're really getting married.

"Have you got what you want?" She asks, I nod,
"Yeah, why don't we go out for some food?"
"I'd love that." She says. Then we go ahead, pay individually, so that she doesn't see my dress and meet back up outside.

Y/N's POV

The two of us sit outside a small frozen yogurt shop at a lovely table in the sunlight, by the beautiful brick pavements covering the area. It's a lovely place.
Natasha has a mocha swirl frozen yogurt of some kind and I opted for a strawberry and raspberry swirl.

"Have you told any of your friends that your getting married here?" I ask Natasha, she nods.
"Clint knows, Audrey and Steve know, Yelena knows and that's basically it." She says, "Have you told anyone?"
"Liz, Brook and Bryce know. And Henry knows, my old landlord. I think I'm gonna tell my mom afterwards, it'll just be easier." I say, she hums in agreement while she puts some Froyo in her mouth.

"I can't believe we're getting married soon."
"Well, believe it quickly, you're supposed to be finding someone to officiate." I respond, she laughs lightly.

Natasha's phone then goes off, she picks it up and looks at it. She doesn't seem amused.
"What's up, Tasha?" I ask, she slides her phone over to me and displays a text from W. Maximoff,
'I'm sorry for how everything happened between us, I'm happy for you, honestly.'

"That's... what do you think?" I say,
"I don't know, I'm not going to reply. I just don't get why she's still trying to convince me that she's being honest."
"Maybe she is," I say, "And that's not to say that you should play into it, just - it seems like it would be a lot of effort to keep faking just to reconnect. Especially because if she wasn't genuine, the same arguments would happen again if you did reconnect."
"Maybe, but I don't want to respond either way." She responds, swiping the message away and locking her phone,
"That's fair, she's probably not being genuine."

Natasha laughs,
"You changed that up quickly, Angel."
"Well, I was trying to be supportive if you were thinking about messaging her, but since your not, I don't need too."
"Hmm, have you thought about reconnecting with Amy and Brad."

"Not at all, they ruined so much for us."
