Now that 'Professor Romanoff's Angel' is a completed story, I thought it would be fun to give you some statistics from the story and answer some questions.

First off, I wanted to say that this was a pretty big commitment for me. I've been writing for a long time but never something of this scale with such good feedback. To every single person who read, favourited or commented on even a single chapter, thank you.

I'm going to do a general Q&A but if you have any more questions, just ask them here and I'll try my best to respond.

Q: How did you come up with the story?
A: well, it was originally going to be a smut one shot for my one-shot story, Romanoff's Red Room, but mid-way through writing it, I decided to stop and turn it into a whole story. I never finished the one shot, but I might show you what I did write at the end of this chapter.

Q: Did anything else inspire the story?
A: Ellejstanson's 'The Affair With My Professor' was a pretty big inspiration, along with her '60 Days With Professor Romanoff in the Dark.' Additionally, 'Yes Professor Johansson' by NikaylaOwens was a inspiration without me even realising.

Q: What era do you picture Nat in for this story?
A: Endgame Nat. She's a lot softer but she still has the ability to be tough and demanding, it fits pretty well IMO.

Q: Why did you make Wanda an antagonist/so bad?
A: she enslaved an entire town to get what she wanted... this told me that she doesn't care who she hurts as long as she gets what she wants - this is what I based her attitude on.

Please don't start arguments about Wanda's character in the MCU or anything, this is just what I used to make her into an antagonist.

Q: Seriously though, what did Natasha actually teach?
A: often times in stories like these, Natasha is a Russian teacher but I decided that since Russian isn't actually ever taught in American schools (to my knowledge) and that Natasha has more personality than being Russian, I'd make her a media teacher.
She's been seen a few times through the MCU quoting or watching movies even going as far as to say the words along with the movie, so clearly, she has a love of them to a certain extend.
So yeah, short answer, she's a film studies/media teacher.

Q: How did comments influence the story?
A: I loved reading the comments and I already had general story I wanted to follow. I had plots and characters and such I knew I wanted to include but I was never opposed to adjusting things or adding things from comments. For example: originally, Wanda and Amy never slept together, the idea came from comments by haileyromanoff (I love you) shipping them.

Q: How many chapters did you think it'd take, was it more or less than you ended with?
A: well, I thought it was going to be about 30 or so chapters... but I kept having ideas and wanting to add more things so it just kept getting longer. And the chapters were never all that long either, which added more anyway.

Q: Were any of the characters based on people you know in real life?
A: yes, quite a lot of them. Jayden was based on someone who did something pretty similar, I'm not gonna talk about that. Brad and Amy were also based on people I know from real life. Bryce was a mix of a few people. Y/N's parents were also inspired by multiple people that I know.

Q: What about the story, was any of it based on personal experience?
A: The hand burn very early on was definitely personal experience. I've never slept with my Professor though so there's only so much I can pull from my own life with that.
