Y/N's POV

The lunch bell rings and I leave Professor Roger's history class, heading up to the canteen.
I meet Amy and Brad at our table near the back - it's not actually our table, but it's the table we always sit at so we call it 'our table'.

I haven't seen Maximoff since this morning and even though she said she wouldn't report it, I can't help but worry.

"What are you guys doing this weekend?" Brad asks, sitting down with his lunch. I sit down on the table next to him with my lunch.
"I don't have any plans." Amy says, "But Y/N's gonna be with her girlfriend." Amy teases.
"You have a girlfriend? Do I know her?" Brad asks.
"It's the girl that Bryce told you about, the one I met at work, so no." I say, as much as I think Brad would be excited for me, he's a bit of a dumbass and anyone else knowing is way too risky for me.
"What are you guys doing?"
"Not a clue, but I know we'll be hanging out." I eat some of my food.

Some of the teachers walk in to the canteen, Professor Rogers, Professor Banner and Natasha. Normally she doesn't eat in the canteen, I watch as her eyes scan the cafeteria until she finds me. She smiles at me and walks with Rogers and Banner to the line.

"Amy, do you want to come with me to see that festival thing going on in town?"
"Sure, when?"
"It starts Saturday. Are you still at Romanoff's house? I can come pick you up."
"Yeah..."

They keep talking about where they're meeting and what they're gonna do, while my focus is taken by a text message.
'You okay?' It's from Natasha,
'I'm fine, are you okay?' I send her back,
'As good as I can be, what do you want to do tonight?' She texts me, I glance over to her standing in the line, waiting for food and smiling at her phone.
'I just want to relax, honestly. Watch a movie and just talk... and drink, dating your Professor is surprisingly mentally exhausting.'
'Because of Wanda finding out, right? I'm not mentally exhausting?'
I smile, I probably could've worded that better.
'Of course you aren't, I love spending time with you.'

"What's your girlfriends name, Y/N?" Brad asks,
"What?"
"Your girlfriend... that's who your texting right?"
"Oh, her name is, uh, Natalie." I blurt out, not exactly right but close enough, right?
"Natalie, who? I know a Natalie." He says,
"Rushman, Natalie Rushman."

Once again, not exactly right but close enough.

Amy looks at me and gives a small nod, mentally applauding my genius thinking, obviously. I take another quick glance over to my beautiful girlfriend, Natalie Rushman, she looks over to me and winks. She's feeling risky after all that happened this morning? At least, she's dedicated.

"Rushman..." Brad repeats, "Yeah, never met her. You have a picture?"
"I don't, we haven't took any together yet. Maybe we will this weekend." I smile and take another bite of my lunch,
"You should, or you should let me meet her."
"It's our first week together, I don't want you to scare her away."
"It's your first week and she's already leaving marks on your neck?" I rub my neck, I had forgotten about them, honestly.
"That's none of your business."
"Fine." He says before checking his watch, "Oh, I gotta jet. See you guys later!" He stands up and quickly runs off.

"I might go see Amber before lunch ends, see you around?" Amy stands up,
"My friends have abandoned me." I state, laced with heavy sarcasm.
"So go hang out with your girlfriend, since you can't keep your eyes off her." She says, walking backwards away from our table.
"Of course, I'm gonna look at her. She's hot and she's mine."
Amy laughs,
"Let's be honest, you're hers."
"Let's be honest, you're a bitch." I quickly respond, standing up from the table.
"Love you too." She smiles and walks away.
