Lost Father

Perfection Pt 1

*flashback 3rd POV*

In the mountains of Seara lays a peaceful town named Koa. This town is the happiest place on all of Remnant. What with noting but mountains and the sea around not much in terms of danger presents itself. 

Because of this the citizens live in pure bliss. Going into the town you'll see children happily playing in the streets while their parents chat with each other. Heading to the center we see Y/N L/N running as fast as he can. 

Man: "Morning Y/N."

Y/N: "Hi Rodger."

Woman: "Where're you off to in such a hurry?"

Y/N: "I gotta return home. If I don't get there in the next minute I 'll force myself to go without dinner."

Man2: "Then you better hurry!"

He smiles quickening his pace. He finally reaches his rather big house. Heading into the kitchen he sees his mom chopping vegetables.

M/N: "Cutting it close. You have two seconds to spare."

Y/N: "Dang, though I had more time."

M/N: "Did you get the tomatoes like I asked?"

He reaches into his pocket pulling out the reddest tomatoes known to Remnant.

Y/N: "Richard said to take them so you can make your famous chili."

M/N: "It ain't that famous."

Y/N: "It won best cooked chili for three years in a row."

Y/N's mom rolls her eyes.

Y/N: "Where's dad?"

M/N: "He should be in his study."

He runs to his father. Politely knocking he's let inside. Opening the door he sees his father gently assembling a ship in a bottle. Not wanting to disturb him he tiptoes across the floor and waits for his dad to notice his presence. When he puts the cork in he finally looks at his son.

F/N: "I thought I heard you coming in."

Y/N: "So what's that ship's name?"

F/N: "I'm calling her the S.S.Royal."

Y/N: "Pretty."

He picks Y/N up putting him in his lap.

F/N: "So what brings you to me?"

Y/N: "I went into town today. Mom's gonna make her chili."

F/N: "The whole town's gonna be buzzing for the next three weeks."

Y/N: "You'd think she was a professional chief."

F/N: "Sometimes I wonder if she can really cook."

M/N: "I heard that."

They look to see her leaning in the doorway.

F/N: "Sorry, I didn't mean that."

M/N: "I know." 

They kiss making Y/N gag.

F/N: "Come on Y/N. You'll do this when you find someone."

Y/N: "I'm not settling down! I'm gonna live the life of a bachelor!"

M/N: "How do you know what a bachelor is?"

Y/N: "I watch the shows you and dad watch late at night."

F/N: "So it seems you're an eavesdropper. You know what that means."

Y/N: "Uh oh."

M/N/F/N: "A visit from the tickle monster!!!"

They tickle him as he screams for the torture to stop. That night Y/N is woken up by the sounds of screaming. Jumping out of bed he runs out of the house to see the buildings on fire.

Y/N: "Mom! Dad! Where are you guys!?!"

Man: "There's one!"

He looks forward to see two men coming for him. Kicking it into high gear he takes off escaping the men. But when he gets into the center of town he runs into a pair of legs. Panning up we see a somewhat young male wearing an all gray uniform.

Y/N: "Who are you!?! Why're you destroying my home!?!" 

The male grabs Y/N by the front of his shirt lifting him off the ground. From there lots of other men appear each holding two children.

Male: "Listen and rejoice! Your children have been chosen! Chosen to be the evolution of our kind! They'll be the ones to usher in a new world, a more powerful world!"

M/N: "YYYY/NNNN!"

Y/N: "Mom!!!!"

She runs to him when the male shoots her dead.

F/N: "MMMM/NNNN!!!!"

He runs kneeling down next to her.

F/N: "You bastard!!!"

He runs in but like his wife he's shot down.

Y/N: "Mom!!! Dad!!!!"

Male: "Let this be a lesson to you. Do not try to stop us, for you'll only die. Progress is coming. And not even Oum himself can stop it."

He turns to his men.

Male: "Alright boys load'em up!"

Every parent screams as their children are forcibly taken from them. The invaders load back onto the ship taking the abducted children back to their kingdom.

*timeskip*

The ship makes landfall. The horde of children are shackled together then walked away. Meanwhile the ones who didn't make the journey back are just tossed into the ocean. Following the children we see them led through the main building before all standing before the male who abducted them.

Slader: "Welcome. My name's Slader and I'm gonna be your caretaker from now on."

Girl: "I want my mommy!!!"

Slader: "Your old family is no more. From now onward I shall be your new family. You may hate me now. But in time you'll grow to respect me. Respect me for taking you away from your bland lives and turning you into vessels for a much more beautiful world. A world governed by only the strongest. Some of you won't survive. But those that do will be the special ones. You'll be the gods of the new world."

He looks at the children smiling.

Slader: "Time for your first test. You better pray you survive."

He snaps his fingers making his goons escort the children to a large empty room.
