Robin woke that morning from the sound of the telephone ringing.

Normally, the sound of the phone ringing wouldn't wake Robin up, but this time it did, because she had moved the phone to her room after begging Karen to call her if anything happened, or if she could help in any way.

Anxiously, she picked up the phone.

"Hello?"

"Hi Robin, this is Karen."

"Is everything okay?"

"No, no, not really. Nancy is having a panic attack, and isn't letting anyone touch her. But she keeps asking for you. How soon can you get here?"

"10 minutes, tops. I'll see you soon. Thank you, Mrs. Wheeler."

No matter how nonchalant Mrs. Wheeler had tried to sound, it was obvious that she was desperate for someone to come see her daughter.

So, it was that which motivated her to pedal faster, faster, faster, until she screeched to a stop in front of Nancy's house.

Already, she could hear sobbing and screaming coming from the house, and she could see confused and judgemental neighbors sticking their heads out of their windows.

She flipped them all off, then proceeded to run up to the door.

She tested it quickly, to find that it was unlocked, so she slipped inside to see Karen and Ted comforting a terrified Mike and Holly. Karen quickly notice Robin, and gestured for her to go upstairs.

So, Robin followed the sound of the broken cries, the cries of someone who had been through so much, until she found Nancy's room.

She lightly knocked on the door frame, but she didn't think that Nancy could hear it over her cries.

She walked over quietly, but not so quietly as though she'd get taken by surprise.

"Hey, Nancy. I'm here now." Robin said, her heart breaking for the poor girl.

Robin wasn't sure if she was imagining it, but she was pretty sure Nancy's body had sagged slightly in relief.

Unsure about whether touching Nancy while she was in that state was a good idea, so she grabbed a turquoise blanket off her bed and placed it around her shoulders.

She then sat beside her, not touching her body that was shaking with racking sobs.

To her surprise, Nancy immediately wrapped her arms around her, and buried her face in the crook of Robin's neck.

Robin could feel tears soaking through her shirt almost immediately, but she could also feel the untamed fireworks from where Nancy laid on her bare neck.

Once again, Robin felt the wave of guilt that came with the electricity, and instead focused on calming down Nancy, though she already seemed better, just by holding on to Robin.

Robin tightened her grip on Nancy's shivering body, and rocked them back and forth. She cradled Nancy's head in her hands, and traced comforting circles on her back.

They stayed like that for half an hour, until the cries were gone, instead replaced by heavy breaths. Nancy had quite literally cried herself to sleep.

Like before, Robin picked up the exhausted girl, and placed her in her bed, rousing her slightly.

"Robin." Nancy said, faintly.

"Hm?"

"I'm sorry." Nancy said somberly.

Robin was sitting on the bed instantly, tucking Nancy's hair behind her ears.

"You have absolutely nothing to be sorry about, Nancy. If anything, it's my fault I didn't get there sooner."

"No, no, Robin. You don't understand. You saved me. But I still can't get him out of my head, and-

Robin shushed Nancy, and tucked the blankets around her small frame.

Robin wasn't completely sure, but she knew that she looked like a deer in headlights when she heard a faint whisper of "love you" slip out from Nancy's lips.
