Electric Love

Just a normal day

(A/N just imagine the crystal in the Whispering Wood)

'Ok Ella let's get ready for a great day'
I look in the mirror as brush my hair and smile at myself.

I look over to see my mom, she's tending to my brothers breakfast. He is 17 and he still can't make his own breakfast, I roll my eyes.

"Morning mom" I say, she returns the exchange, " Morning sweetie, what's your day look like today?" Well let's look back at yesterday's adventure.

*Flashback to yesterday*
Location: Whispering Woods...

Bow, Glimmer, and me are screaming a running from a 20 foot bug with red eyes.

*End of flashback*

"Um I don't know, Queen Angella summoned me to Bright Moon today so it must be another mission with Bow and Glimmer," I say with a shrug picking up an apple for the road.

I look at my brother with a nod that he returns 'its our sibling love' and walk outside.

It's a beautiful sunny day in Thaymor, perfect day for a ride. I look to the stables and see my dad tiding up and cleaning his horse.

He sees me and smirks "How are you up this early?" he says smugly.
I look at him unamused "I got a mission from the Queen" I say returning his smug attitude.

"Well well well, look who's following in her fathers footsteps," he says with a smile grabbing me in a headlock, messing with my hair, "Hey! Stop that! And how do you know I'm not following in mom's?" I raise my eyebrow. Cat must of got his tongue.

I laugh and walk to the fence where my horse is having it's breakfast. I put my saddle on top and latch it snug.  I finishing up putting all his gear on and hop on top of him. I say my good bye to my dad and ride to Bright Moon.

*Time Skip*

'Wow. I can never get use to this view'

I ride my horse to the entrance and the guards take the reins, "Take care of him," I tell them. They give me a nod.
I start walking to the war room 'Ok what will the mission be this time?' (A/N she has lots of internal monologue) 'Taking back a town from the Horde? That would be so awesome.' Im met by non other than Princess Glimmer. She is one of my best friends and she can also maybe teleport and throw sparkles at people. She greets me with a hug and I return.

"Are you ready for our mission," she asks, " yes ma'am, commander ma'am" I say in a serious voice as I salute her and laugh. She looks at me unamused but then joins me.

"Where's Bow?" I ask and like that she's gone and in 5 seconds 'I counted' shes back with Bow in tow, "Hi Bow" I say nonchalantly.

He is my other best friend 'I don't have many friends only Glimmer and Bow' and master archer.

"Morning Ella, how is Thaymor?" he asks, "Good good" I tell him.

After we talk and hug we all start walking to the war room and are meet by Queen Angella.

I rub my hands together "What's on the board for today your Majesty?"

"Today, Commander Glimmer, you will take Ella and Bow on patrol through the east section of the Whispering Woods, searching for strange activity regarding Bow's readings. Under no circumstances will you engage with the Horde. Understand?" she says with a stern, motherly look as she mainly looks at Glimmer and then to me and Bow.

"Understand" we all chorus but in different tones.

Exiting the war room, we get all out gear and get ready for our mission 'maybe today will just be a normal day' (A/N that's what she thinks 😂)

*Time skip. Location: East section of the Whispering Woods*

I hear Bow huff and look around. He then looks at us and asks "do you see anything that could be giving off such a huge amount of electric energy?" Me and Glimmer take glances around not seeing anything yet. We shake our heads and walk further on.

We stop to take a break after still having no luck. "We should take a break and rest" Glimmer suggests. Bow and I agree and so with that being said we all were so exhausted that we passed out in a pile.

'Static can be heard awakening our character'

"Um is that just me or do you hear that too? Guys?" I say groggily. It's no use I know they can't hear me they are heavy sleepers. So instead of waking them I carefully exit the pile and look into the woods and what do I see, a light.
'Something tells me I should follow it' but my curiosity takes over and I venture in the direction of the light.

As I come closer the the light it's not a light but a purple crystal

"Woah that is pretty," I say, "I wonder if you are what was setting off Bow's tracker pad" I say talking to the crystal like it's a person.

I reach out to the crystal and to my luck it sends me flying backwards in a shock and all I could feel was electricity coursing through my veins. The pain was to much to bear sending me into unconsciousness.

'This is definitely not a normal day'
