Electric Love

The Sword Part 1

"What happened out there?!?" Angella yells. Bow, Glimmer, and I shrink at her voice as it towers over us.

"We found the source of the energy, but something unexpected happened," Bow says, rubbing the back of his head nervously, "Ella, she uh-"

I interrupt him and say " Tripped and fell. Yeah uh those tree roots, never see them coming. So I should go get cleaned up. glimmer" I say nervously and whisper the last part nudging her. She doesn't understand why at first but then realizes.

"Yeah and I will help her find some new clothes. Bye Mom" she says quickly and teleports us out of the room.

"Glimmer!! We are not done talking," the Queen shouts, pinching the bridge of her nose.

*Time Skip*
I'm now in clean clothes and I'm being really quiet which isn't like me, so naturally Glimmer and Bow are worried.

Glimmer approaches me and places a hand on my shoulder. I flinch at the contact. 'What if I hurt her'

"Are you ok?" Glimmer asks. I look at her.

"Yeah. I'm just— I don't know what happened to me but I'm different now. These powers they could really help people but they are also really powerful I can feel it. What if I hurt someone or I hurt you or Bow again?" I say sadly. I drop my head.

Bow hears what I say and walks over. "What happened to me wasn't your fault and look" he starts. I look up at him "I'm fine. Glimmers fine and we are going to help you figure out how to use your powers because what are we?" he says chipper. I smile a little.

"We are the Best Friend Squad," I mumble.

"What I didn't catch that" Bow says.

"We are the Best Friends Squad" I say louder.

"Yeah we are," Bow says, pulling me and Glimmer into a hug.

*Time Skip*

Queen Angella surprisingly sent us on another mission.

We went to Elberon and we may have ran into the Horde. So like good soldiers we fought to protected but when we were ordered to retreat can you guess what we did.

We stayed and once we got back to Bright Moon, Queen Angella wasn't to happy.

Glimmer was called to the throne room and Bow had left. So I give her a thumbs up and a 'good luck' and wait for her in her room.

*Time Skip*

I had set up my punching bag in her room (A/N she lives in Bright Moon but at the beginning of the story she was visiting her family) and start punching away.

When Glimmer returned she had teleported back into her room. This scaring me, when I went to punch the bag an electric charge exited my fist and sent my bag flying. "That's new," I say pointing at my bag that was now across the room.

"Wow. Ella how did you do that?" Glimmer questions.

"I don't know. I think it was a reaction to somebody scaring me," I give her a look.

"Oops sorry" Glimmer apologizes.

Glimmer stomps over to her table where her journal is located. "I'm so mad at my mom" she says madly.

"Why?" I ask, which earns me a look. I hold up my hands defensively.

"She grounded me for us trying to protect a village and not retreating."

As she says that I walk over to my punching bag setting it back up. She starts writing in her journal, I start punching. "Dear Mom, I know you'll never read this, but I have to say it somewhere. I feel like you..." she pauses.
