"So you're telling me you guys talked for hours but you didn't care to know his name?" Asa's laugh booms through the phone and I roll my eyes.
"It didn't come to my mind and besides, it wasn't important." I defend myself.
Or maybe it was because you were too busy eye-fucking him.
"Are you really sure Skylar?" I can picture him with one brow raised up.
"For fuck sake Asa, can we just let this shit go? I told you I'm never gonna see him again. We just crossed path mistakenly and that's all."
Sure.....keep believing a lie.
"Hey don't come at me!" I didn't need to see him to know his hands are in a surrending form.
"You were the one who called me to drop the whole 'experience with your hot, wickedly looking almost murderer' as you described." The sound of my laugh echoed throughout the house as I took in his statement.
Later that day, After Emily and Mr Face left. I called Asa and told him about our encounter from the very beginning. He was pissed when I told him about the incident and my almost murderer not apologising.
I was sure he was ready to come here to give him a piece of his mind like I did, but when the part about what happened today came up, his anger turned into a laughing fit.
Surprisingly, Asa noticed I didn't say or mention his name despite the four different encounters we've had, especially the last two and that's when I realised I don't know his name.
"I didn't say he's wickedly looking." I laugh out.
"You didn't say it but you described it." He's right. I was pretty detailed with the explanation.
"Any plans of coming over?" I decide to change the conversation. Better now before I spill out the little parts I left out.
Which is mostly getting lost in his eyes.
"For now...not really." His words saddens me. I really miss him and I want to see him.
"But once I'm done with work here, I'll definitely surprise you."
"You know I hate surprises." You can do anything on this planet for me but surprise me. I hate them like I hate Cheesecake.
"I know but you better start getting use to them." Another eye roll escapes my eyes. He can't even see me.
"So how has the first month in your new home been?" Asa ask in excitement.
"You know...the usual." I shrug.
"Wh- Skylar...no!" A tone of unbelieve is now present in Asa'a voice, matching his surprised face. I know for a fact that he's stunned, I don't need to see it.
