June, Graduation Day

She'd finally found a quiet place on campus to watch the rest of Ricky's video message. She was around the side of the school, in the staff parking lot. Hopefully no one would interrupt her there.
Nina sat with her back against the building, her phone in her lap. She closed her eyes for a moment, trying to work up the courage to hit 'play' again.
She didn't know if she could keep doing this.
Just then, she noticed something sticking out of a nearby bush. It was... a poster. Decorated with reds... and oranges... and yellows. A poster for the Fall Carnival.
She looked at the poster and smiled as memories from that night came flooding back. "Ricky," she said out loud, sighing with a smile. "If this is one of your signs... then message received,"
She folded the poster and slipped it into her pocket before pressing 'play.'
