Techno POV

Techno couldn't run fast enough. No matter how quickly he ran, time still stood between him and his brothers. Lights danced off the houses, only making Techno panic more. Who called the police? What happened? What if they took them away from him? He couldn't bare to even think of that.

Stumbling into the door, he was greeted by a group of policemen who immediately looked towards him. One of them approached him cautiously, clearly noting the panic in his eyes. "What are you doing here kid, who are-"

"I'm their older brother! Where's Tommy and Wilbur?!" he said in a panic, his eyes scoping out the room. His heart began to pound even faster when he found no trace of them. What did he do? If he hurt them again...

"You must be Techno." the woman spoke gently, kneeling down in front of the concerned teen. "I need you to-"

But Techno wasn't listening. He didn't care what she thought he needed to do. All he cared about was making sure his brothers were safe. Pushing away from her, he rushed past the officers, calling out as he went. "Tommy! Wilbur! Where are you?!"

His heart dropped in his chest when he discovered a pool of blood, right in the middle of their room. Tears leaked from his eyes as his mind took over. They're hurt! He needed to protect them-

"Techno?" a voice came from behind him. He spun around, the relief crashing into him like a wave. His eyes locked on the brunette's. He had never been so happy in all his life to see Wilbur. Racing forward, he engulfed the younger in a tight hug, clearly taking Wilbur by surprise. He knew Techno wasn't really one for hugs unless he meant it. Wilbur quickly hugged back, melting into the older's protective touch.

"I'm so glad you're okay!" Techno pulled back, looking the brunette in the eyes. "I saw the blood and I thought-" he paused, his eyes suddenly growing panicked once more. "Tommy, where's Tommy?!"

Wilbur sighed, pulling Techno towards the bottom bunk. He knew Techno wouldn't have a good reaction. He never did to things like this. "They had to take Tommy to the hospital." he said carefully.

"What?! Is he okay?!" Techno demanded, his heart aching at the thought of Tommy being hurt. It had never been this bad before. He had never hurt him this badly before.

Wilbur nodded, placing a hand on his shoulder. "They said he should be fine. But it will take him a while to heal."

"Why didn't you go with him?" Techno asked, resting his head in his hands. This entire day had gone so much worse than he had hoped. And the stress was really starting to get to him.

"There wasn't anything I could do for him..." Wilbur began, a look of regret filling his eyes. "And as much as I wanted to be there for him... I didn't want to leave you behind. I knew that you would freak out if both of us were gone."

Techno stood up, glancing towards the window. "We need to get to the hospital."

"I'm sure one of the-"

"I don't trust them." Techno cut him off with a firm shake of his head.

Wilbur rolled his eyes, "So how are we going to get there, genius?"

"We walk."

Wilbur stared at him, obviously thinking he was joking. "You can not be serious."

"It can't be that far. Besides, Tommy needs us." Techno moved towards the door, fully serious in his plan. Nothing was going to keep him from his little brother. Not even a long distance.

Wilbur sighed, but decided against arguing. He knew Techno was too stubborn to call anyone. He could only hope that Techno would call someone eventually. He was sure Skeppy or Bad could drive them without any problems.

And Techno knew that too.

But he would never admit it.
