Techno POV
Techno awoke to the comfort of familiar sheets. He couldn't help but smile when he realized where he was. Glancing towards the window, he found a figure sitting beside him reading a book.
Phil looked up to him, smiling softly. "Hey Techno, how are you feeling?"
"Good, thanks to you." the brunette replied. How could he have been so stupid? How could he have thought he could handle the responsibility of taking care of his siblings? He could barely believe himself. "I... I'm sorry, for everything."
The man chuckled, "I'm just glad you realized your mistake."
"You should have stopped me." Techno commented, shaking his head.
"It was your choice to leave." he shrugged, putting his book aside. "And it still is."
Techno thought for a moment. "Is... is your offer still available."
Phil smiled brightly. "Of course. We would love to have you three stay with us officially." He paused, laughing, "Wilbur actually already accepted the offer."
Techno shook his head in amusement. "Of course he did."
"His excuse was that he was the smartest one out of the three of you."
The brunette rolled his eyes. Only Wilbur. A thought came to his head. "I'm not ready to be adopted... I don't think any of us are."
Phil nodded, expecting that. "That's totally fine. That's an option down the road. For now, we're just happy to have you here."
Suddenly the door swung forward, revealing an energy filled Tommy. "Techno!" he exclaimed, climbing up on the bed. He sat beside his brother, poking him in the nose.
"I'm glad to see you're feeling better Toms." Techno chuckled, looking up to see Kristin.
"He's definitely got more energy than yesterday." she explained, watching in amusement. Wilbur popped in front behind her, shifting from foot to foot. She urged him in, resting a hand on her shoulder.
Techno could guess what he was nervous about. "I'm sorry Wil." Teen snapped up towards him, his eyes wide. "I made a big mistake forcing us to leave. I should have asked for your opinion... and I should have thought of Tommy."
"It's about time you stopped acting so stupid." Wilbur laughed, his heart swelling. That was the last thing he expected coming from Techno.
"I never said you could be mean." Techno warned with a smirk.
"So we're going to stay here? Forever?" Tommy piped up, looking up at his brother hopefully.
"Yes, Toms."
