Chapter - 24

Life is always busy. It moves on daily, no matter what- just like Time. We have to accept everything that comes our way. Like that, we get used to every flaw thus becoming a master in everything we do.

And indeed life is not always a bed of roses. It must have thorns to keep us at bay! 

for example, teachers help us to be on the right road during our college days for not always enjoying ourselves without thinking about anything else still we tend to be a little freak as we move forward.

It's been a week since Lasya and Shravas selected a topic. Earlier they have discussed the points to be included. Then they got approved by their HOD and she asked them to prepare a rough draft of the paper and a PowerPoint slide and that too within a week.

So this is the situation where Lasya and Shravas will spend some time together to finish off the tasks.

"Hey, what about you coming over to my house and we shall discuss it over there?" Shravas asked with slight hesitation thinking she might deny his proposal.

Lasya put her fingers under her chin as a way of deciding something. 

"Well, I guess that would be a great idea. Since we have to finish it by this weekend", She turned to him and gave him her charismatic smile.

"Okay then. That's decided. I will come and pick you up from your apartment tomorrow. Will that be okay?" He asked rubbing his nape with a sheepish smile.

"Yup, that will do. I will be ready by 10 in the morning", She said sitting comfortably in her seat on the bus.

Within a second, she turned immediately to look at him as if something clicked in her mind. She might have got whiplash.

"By the way, you know my address?", Lasya asked curiously.

His eyes widened in realization and he nodded slowly. To avoid the awkwardness, he said simply "well you know I am the student council secretary, so yeah I have your address at home. Don't you worry, be ready and I will come and pick you up", He said without looking into her eyes because if he did, he is sure he would have to get caught. 

"Thank God, I got it covered up", Shravas thought. 

"Oh yeah. I forgot about that. Anyway ok then!..." She replied awkwardly.

She then made herself busy with her ear pods listening to her favorite music and closing her eyes whereas Shravas was just adoring her sitting across from her.

College was busy today with so many events in line to hold and the college council is going on to get a new level from the affiliation council so all the staffs and members are busy with their allotted duties.

He sighed and took a deep breath. He then closed his eyes for some time after the hectic work in the college.

'He was holding her soft hand yet delicate and tiny when compared to his. She had a warm smile that is not leaving her face even for a second. They were walking hand in hand along the river, admiring the beautiful sunset and welcoming the cool breeze of the evening air.

They sat near the small tree. He held her tightly along her waist and she put her head on his shoulders. They didn't utter any word just comfortably seated accepting the silence. Both of them were happy and wanted the time to cease its existence. 

After a merry beautiful second, "I love you Ravi" Lasya murmured across his chest looking at the sunset.

He had a smile, a genuine one that could make her heart flutter in seconds.
