"An admirer for real?"

|Part - 1|

*******

It was a weekend, and as usual, Lasya was eating her breakfast, but was startled hearing her phone ringing louder and louder. She heaved a sigh with annoyance.

She doesn't know why but to be frank, she doesn't like people calling her when she is busy digging on to her food. She Still remembers her caretaker, back in orphanage used to say that, whenever someone calls in the middle of the meals, that someone is really into you or either way round.
Urgh, hell to that information. How is she supposed to eat now?

She doesn't have to bother cause there is no such one like that. Once after her parents left her, she is not old Lasya any more. Before she was lazy and enjoy being pampered by everyone all the time. But situations got worse and everything is changed now and she loves this new herself...
The capable me! To be significant.

She sighed and got up to check the caller ID on the phone and it was her friend Tina.

"Oh shit, I totally forgot the promise I made to accompany her to the nearest beauty parlor and to the mall. damn it!" She said to no one in particular.

She tried to call her back again.
Oh God, it directly went to her voice mail.

Okay, she decided to leave her a voice message.

"Hey, I am really sorry. To be honest, this week was very hectic and I forgot the promise that I made. But don't you worry I will make it up to you dear. Please, call me back once you get my message."

She cuts the call later and quickly finished off the breakfast and cleaned the kitchen mess. While she was brushing Ritchie's fur, the doorbell rang. She thought about the person who ranged the bell... Cause as far she knows there was no one who would visit her at this moment.

"Tina," she mentally thought and said aloud.
Maybe .. let me see

Saying so, she hurriedly made her way to the door. Huffing and puffing she opened the door to see none other than the fuming Tina, her Tina. Lasya swallowed a lump in her throat which she didn't notice it was formed.

Lasya was about to say when she pushed her to a side and entered the living room. She sighed shaking her head and locked the door.

She held her hands on her ears and stood in front of her.

"I am really sorry Tina. I was busy so I forgot about the meeting we had. I didn't want to make you feel sad please forgive me and I would do anything you tell me to do so I could make it up for you."

Lasya pleaded her by pulling out her puppy face and instantly Tina melted in her arms. Lasya knew her very well. She hugged and assured her to be with her all day as next week is the dream wedding.

"Okay, I forgive you. I understand your work schedules and I am causing you much more trouble to you which I should not do. I am sorry for being selfish" she started crying in her arms as Lasya held tight.

She doesn't know why she felt happy cause there was only one who understands her well in her life.

"Hey, Tina. It's okay. You are not being selfish here. I am a selfish person cause it's your wedding and it's everyone's wish to have their best friend to be at the wedding. So no sorry and no need to worry about it." Tina nods her head in understanding.

Lasya made her sit and give her some water to drink. Then she went to get ready and within no time she is up to go. Seeing Lasya, she had that excitement when a kid gets her fav toy after so much of pleadings from her parents.
Yup, Tina is sometimes kiddo. Hahaha.
