After 5 hours of sleep, Lasya got up from the bed and rubbed her eyes to adjust with the sunlight. Soon her phone went ringing to its maximum sound. She groaned and moved herself to the nearby nightstand to pick up the phone. First, she checked the time and the caller id.

It showed Tina is calling and the time was 7 am. Suddenly she remembered her Tina saying to get up by 6.30 yesterday as they have planned to go for sightseeing.

"Shit shit shit, now Tina will surely shout at me. Oh God, please protect me from my friend" Lasya muttered under her breath and attended the call. As expected Tina shouted at her for being lazy that too in Goa. After an earful of bashing, she asked her to join them downstairs for breakfast and soon they will leave the resort for sightseeing.

"Okay Tina mom, I will be there in 20 minutes. Please spare me now and keep your rambling for the next time. Yeah, I am coming in 20" Lasya hung up the call and got up from the cozy bed.

First, she searched for some neat and good dress to wear today as they are going to roam in the city; so to be more comfortable she selected pretty blue lace Kurti with denim and kept it on her bed. Later she quickly headed to the washroom to do her morning business and came back within 20 minutes.

Without any makeup, she checked upon herself once again over the big mirror and smiled at her reflection. She then unlocked the room and went downstairs to join others to have breakfast. There were lots of people around the dining area of the resort.

Lasya felt a little shy because she is not that comfortable with strangers. She thought to act brave so it won't affect her friendship with Tina as she loves making new people and here all are her would-be relatives and cousins.

Lasya wore a smile on her face while coming towards the table and she picked up the plate and put some rotis and curry. She then looked around to find Tina but to her dismay, she couldn't find instead she saw her mom which brought her instant happiness in her heart to see her after a very long time. She marched towards her table.

"Aunty, shall I sit here and accompany you while having your breakfast?" Tina's mom was having food in a hurried manner so she didn't know there was one waiting for her permission to be seated beside her.

Lasya cleared her throat once again and that made it work. "Hello aunty, shall I sit beside you to have my breakfast?" Tina's mom raised her head to look who is it and knowing it's her other daughter she smiled immediately.

"Oh my God, who is this Lasya! It's been a long time I haven't seen you, my dear. Why asking? Come sit and let's talk". She pulled by her wrist towards the seat and made her sit.

They enjoyed each other's company and talked a lot about the current happenings of their life. It seems Tina's mom is going to resign from the head cook job in Singhal mansion as she is going to accompany along with Tina to start her new life.
