Shravas couldn't sleep after seeing her in the classroom on her first day. He opened the door to his balcony, and even though the climate is a very bit chilly and breezy he stood leaning on the rails. He reminisced the things thats happened in the past few days and the day his little hearts joined his college. It was all cool and fantastic now.

She was cute and beautiful at the same time. He couldn't take his eyes off of her. His blood boiled when he saw her along with that playboy Venkat. He was thinking to warn her about his nature but couldn't find enough guts to confront her about him and more than that, it's just her first day.

He always enjoyed watching her from afar and was happy inside. Now, since she is in the same college as him, he could see her daily without any difficulty.

"She is happy now and more than that she has got two friends Nihi and Pooja. I hope they have got her in all thick and thin. I guess I will have to check their background cause I feel they are good for her", Shravas murmured quietly.

"Also, She has adjusted to this new routine and I am so happy for her. God, I want to protect her from every evil thing and I don't want her to feel remorse for anything in her life anymore. I will make sure of that." Shravas thought in his mind and closed his eyes. Heaving a sigh, he gazed at the starry sky feeling content.

All of a sudden, clouds turned a bit darker and rains started pouring with heavy drops and everything seemed to be perfect now as if God, himself has answered him that everything will be going alright.

On the other side,

Lasya also couldn't sleep because of two reasons.

One - she misses her Ritchie badly during the college hours and she does cuddle him once she is back from the college. Then only she freshens up and gets into her study.

Two - she is happy not just happy she is extremely happy cause she has got two new valuable friends to her life now. They are very lovely and possessive about her. They actually care and order here at the same time.

"I wish this happiness stays in my life forever and I hope I could achieve a good job after this course. I also promise myself to be more productive with academics." She sighed contented.

She goes and stands in front of her favorite God. She thanks him for everything and requested him to make whatever it is now to stay with her forever.

Like this one month passed and by this time Lasya was very attached to her two friends and she became the pet of staff as well. She also got along well with Venkat since he always comes to her and starts a conversation even if she is not interested.

Shravas could see this but kept quiet cause one day when he went to the library to meet her for telling about him, she just asked him to mind his business.

"Lasya, I have something to tell you."
Lasya turned her head from the bookshelves to look at him and she narrows her eyes and raised an eyebrow in a questioning manner.

"What?" She scoffs at him with anger as she doesn't want anyone to rule her like telling her what to do and what not.

She always prefers the freedom of choice and wants to live a life in her way. But, from the past few days, Shravas has started to get on her nerves cause he is behind her for telling about the same thing.

She is not understanding what is the matter with him and she feels that he is falling her.

But, truth to be told, that is not the case. Shravas is no more following her. But keeps an eye whenever she is in front of him.

As he knows the character of Venkat, being the college's playboy he wanted to tell her to stay away from him. But to his dismay, she is not getting it and she simply avoids him.

"Just for God's sake please be at a safe distance from Venkat. He is a player and I don't want you to get hurt in the last." His voice let out from his mouth as a pleading.

She crosses her arms over her chest and her eyebrows knots in confusion.

"Well, thanks for your concern. For your information, I know very well how to take care of myself, and please mind your own business cause it will be of great help as I dont want any baby sitter for me." She spats those words like venom without any remorse and this hurt Shravas but didn't show to her.

Cause of the hurt, Shravas was more irked of her behavior. He is trying to be calm and let her know but she is like, in the phase of 'I dont want to hear and understand anything'.

He moved closer to her to which she gets cautious and steps backward until she hits her back to the book rack.

She gulps a lump formed in her throat and her heart was pounding crazily with their close proximity. Until now, there was no one who stood this close to her.

She was chanting 'all is well, all is well', mentally! Unable to look at him.

"Lasya, look at me!", Shravas kept his finger under her chin and raised her head and made to meet her eyes with his. "Listen carefully, you will listen to me and it's my warning to you. Later please don't tell me that I didn't tell you and why I am telling you is, you are important to me and even Tina has asked me to take care of you as we are in the same college. So, you will have to co-operate or try to understand me for what and why I am saying this." He said while adjusting her hair strands behind her ear and caress her cheeks with the back of his palm. She closed her eyes and breaths heavily taking in the meaning of each word he said.

"And yes, I am minding my own business and I don't want or I won't allow anyone to hurt you ever in your life", listening to his words, she opened her eyes instantly and gazed at him intently to know whether he is saying it just like that or he seriously meant whatever he said.

Her heart coursed with warmness all of a once cause this is the first time someone especially a stranger showing concern to her.

They haven't become friends till now, and now itself he cares about her a lot. So, what if they really are friends?

'He will be bossing you around', her mind mocked at her.

'Aww, how cool it will be to get a handsome friend full of care and concern for you!', her heart reprimanded.

"Why? Why do you care about me so much?" Without any control, her words are out from her mouth.

He leaned forward, very close to her face. His breaths were fanning her face, especially over her lips. She gripped her Kurti tightly due to the fear of losing into his proximity.

"Isn't it simple? We are friends through Tina", he said in a duh tone. "and more than that, I can be honest with you and that is, I like you since the very beginning. So I don't want to share anything that is mine even if it's friendship and yes, you are my ... " Before he could complete, his phone started to ring. He groaned and closed his eyes with frustration.

He pulls himself back from her and takes the call to attend.
