3rd person POV:

"Here you go, ma'am."

"Thank you, young lady!"

The elderly lady patted Yoko's arm and passed her a meat bun ."Would you like one?"

"Ah, no, its fine--"

"No no, I insist!"

Yoko hesitated. "Thank you."

Edgeshot sighed. "Always appreciate the citizens' generosity."

"Sometimes too generous." Abyss and Sero struggled under the amount of gifts and food they had already gotten from previous people.

"One more won't hurt." Yoko placed the meat bun onto the pile of food in Sero's arms. Sero yelped and tumbled to the ground, slipping on ice.

"My arms died." Sero groaned as Edge helped him up.

"Maybe being a hero has some downsides, but its a elating feeling to help anyone in need." Abyss said, carefully setting down her own pile of gifts and food. Pkumes of cold steam escaped her mouth as she punched Edgeshot's shoulder. "Right, Edge?"

Edgeshot simply exhaled. "We should start heading back. Lady and Woods and the others must be waiting."

"'Kay, I'll get going, then!!" Abyss waved. "Catch you guys later!"

From below her, a dark portal opened up and she fell through, waving. The portal closed with a snap, and the snowy ground returned to normal.

"I like her!" Yoko smiled. "She's so cool! One of my favourite heroes for sure!!"

"Oho~ Not Edgeshot-san?" Sero teased.

"Heeyyyy! I like him toooo!" Yoko whined, slapping him.

They started bantering good-naturedly, making Edgeshot think, Ah, Youngsters.

They met up with the others again. For some reason, they were covered head-to-toe with green slime.

"So, should I ask, or...?" Sero said.

"There was a slime monster." Kamui Woods informed Edge.

"It was most likely a curse, a omen to tell us bad things in the future." Ibara said as she flicked a glob of slime off her shoulder.

"Ooo..." Yoko winced as she tried to wipe Denki's sleeve, and failed. "That's disgusting."

"Did you take care of the villain?" Edge asked.

"Yup!" Mt. Lady said. "We handed him over to the police. Then we had to get back, cause will you look at my hair?" she tossed a slimy ringlet over her shoulder.

Edgeshot rolled his eyes. "Your too loud."

"Sorrrrrrry!"

"You five--" Edgeshot turned to the students, "--did good today. I suggest that you run along home and get cleaned up."

"Yes sir!"

They were about to leave when a big gust of wind stopped them. Snow swirled up. They all looked up to see a familiar man with large, red-coloured wings.

"Yo, wassup?" Hawks, No. 2 pro hero, said as he descended from the sky.

"Hawks." Edgeshot said with respect.

"Hawks!" Kamui Woods exclaimed.

"Hawks?" Mt. Lady furrowed her eyebrows.

"I was just passing by and I happened to see ya'll." Hawks smiled and nodded to the U.A. students. "You guys working hard?"

"Yep!!!" They replied, bowing.

"Nah, no need to be so formal." Hawks said. He walked up to Edgeshot. "I've been meaning to give you this..."

He handed Edge a book that was titled: Meta Liberation Front.

"What's this?" Edge asked.

"A book you have to read." Hawks said. "Make sure to check out the parts I highlighted! I especially recommend the second part."

Edgeshot looked a bit doubtful. Hawks was acting a bit off today, but he accepted the book nonetheless. "Thank you...?"

"Huh.....that book seems interesting..." Yoko muttered to herself.

Hawks overheard and brought out five more copies. "OH! I brought extras!" he passed them out.

Mineta sweatdropped. "How does he carry all of that?"

"More importantly, does he actually expect me to read something?" Denki said.

"Just give it a quick look-over! Its good, I promise you!!" Hawks exclaimed. "Hey, Edge! You know where Abyss's agency is?"

"Two blocks down, three lanes to the right, the fifth building." Edge replied in a flat tone. "Why?"

"Ah, just to deliver the same book!" Hawk said, flapping his wings and lifting himself into the air. "Bye, have fun!!!"

He took off.

"Is it just me, or did Hawks-san look a bit off?" Mt. Lady questioned.

"I noticed too..." Woods said.

"We should not worry about it too much." Edgeshot slipped the book into a pouch. "Now run along."

"Yes sir!"

"What did you do with Edgeshot-san and Sero today?" Denki asked Yoko as they boarded the bus.

"We patrolled the streets with another hero named Abyss." Yoko informed him. "And move over - your going to get slime on me."

Denki grinned mischievously and wriggled his slimy fingers. "Maybe I'll just do it to spite you!"

Yoko shrieked quietly and moved away. "Don't you dare!"

He laughed. "Don't worry, I won't, I won't. On a different topic...." he wiped his hands against his shirt and reached into his backpack, bringing out a small, wrapped gift. "Happy early birthday."

"Thanks." Yoko took it and carefully opened it. In the box sat a simple, yet beautiful gold bracelet. She gasped. "Its so pretty!"

"I know your not a jewellery girl, so I picked out the simplest one I could fine

"I know your not a jewellery girl, so I picked out the simplest one I could fine." Denki said. "Seri and Kirishima helped me pick it out."

"You can grovel to me now." Sero sniffed.

Yoko fit her wrist through the bracelet and turned to Denki. "I would hug you if you weren't covered in slime."

Mineta sighed. "I wish I had a girlfriend."

Ibara wrinkled her nose. She was thinking, In your dreams.

"Anyways, thanks." Yoko smiled. "I'm gonna wearing this all the time, now."

"I'm back!"

"Were you delivering the books again?"
