Yoko POV:

My fingers felt like lead. I dropped Chisako's phone, my face slack with shock.

Dabi is Touya.

I felt like the whole world had turned upside down. My migraine got worse. My eyesight went fuzzy, and that wasn't because I wasn't wearing my glasses.

Several emotions ran through me at once. My whole life felt like a lie. I had lived for 10 years thinking that Touya was dead. 10 years! And now some lunatic with burns over his body announced that he was my brother. To the public.

I was dimly aware of Denki trying to get my attention. What did he and Chisako expect me to do? Start bawling my eyes out? Break down and have a panic attack?

No.

Not happening.

I was done with being pitied over. My brother was a villain. So what? It was devastating, yes, but sometimes you just have to live with the devastating truth, even if you don't want to. It was part of life, and you didn't always get your way in life.

Maybe later I would break down. Maybe later I would scream. Maybe later I would cry.

But not right now.

Right now, I had one thing I needed to do.

"Yoko?" Denki said in a cautious voice.

"Where's Shoto?" I asked.

"What?" Chisako blinked.

"Where's Shoto?" I repeated.

"Second floor, three door down and to the left. But you shouldn't--"

I ignored my friends and jumped out of my hospital bed. I stumbled, then straightened. My ribs were healed, but they still ached. I couldn't put too much weight on my left foot, nor move my left arm.

I flung open the door and ran out, barefoot.

On the way to the second floor, I ran past a surprised Jiro. I pushed past a confused Sato. I sped down the hallway, barely missing three doctors escorting Fumikage.

I stopped in front of the room Shoto was supposedly in, and opened it.

Inside were Mezo, Momo, Kirishima, and Mina, sitting next to Shoto's hospital bed. Shoto's skin was covered in banages, and I could see some burn marks peeking through.

Did Touya do that?

My classmates swivelled around and saw me.

"Yoko-san!" Mezo exclaimed.

"Yoko?" Mina croaked, her voice thick with sadness.

"Yoko!" Kirishima said.

"Yoko." Momo sighed with relief.

Shoto looked at me with his multi-coloured eyes. He didn't say anything, but I think that's because his throat might have gotten burnt.

"Shoto." I moved over and touched his hand.

He gave me a sad look.

"Yoko, are you ok?" Momo asked, concerned.

"Other than the fact that I just found out Touya's alive, yes." I mumbled.

"...So you know about that." Kirishima said.

"Yeah." I said. "I wish I didn't."

Shoto moved his hand and gripped mine. He nodded to the window.

Outside, hundreds of people had gathered in front of the hospital. They were shouting protests and insults, but I could hear one name clearly - Endeavor.

Shoto bit his lip, a frustrated look on his face.

"All those people are here to see Endeavor?" I breathed.

"Yes." Momo whispered. "They are demanding a explanation."

The door to the room opened again. "Shoto?"

Fuyumi and Natsu walked in, grim looks on their faces.

"Oh! The Todoroki's older siblings!" Mina exclaimed.

"NIce to meet you!" Kirishima bowed.

"Todoro--um, Shoto-san's throat was burnt so can't talk..." Mina explained, but her voice trailed off when another woman walked in.

My breath hitched against my throat.

"Mom?"
