Jenny smiles as she waves to the customer who left. She was getting used to the work and surprisingly she was good at it. That's what Jacob told her. She liked his compliments. He is really sweet.
He was currently visiting Ava, who was still in the hospital. It seems that her health worsened and Eric is keeping her under his watch. Jenny made a mental note to visit Ava as soon as possible.
But something was weird...why would Ava's health worsen? Was it because of that one day? When she fainted? Didn't Eric tell that she fainted because she didn't eat? She looked perfectly fine the last time Jenny met her.
That was more than a week ago...
Did something happen? She couldn't help but wonder…
The door opened again and a girl walked in, her head down. Jenny smiles at her.
“Good morning! How can I help you today?” She asks in a cheerful voice. The girl looks up at her and Jenny's smile fades away. The girl was crying.
“Are you okay?”
“I don't know….. I don't think I am..” She utters out, her voice shaky.
Jenny walks out the counter and pulls the girl into a hug. The girl hugs her back and bursts out crying. Jenny pats her back, whispering comforting words to calm her down. This girl was younger than her and Jenny couldn't help but see her past self in her. Not that she changed, but she is becoming better.
“What's the matter? Wanna talk about it?”
The girl sniffles.
“I lost my sister.”
Jenny hugs her tight. She understood the pain the girl was going through. She felt it. Even though Jeff was there, he is still dead. That thought haunted her.
“I'm so sorry.”
“I l-loved her so much! She was m-my everything! She didn't deserve t-to die!! Why her?! Why not me?! I don't wanna live without her!! I really don't want to be without her! She was m-my only friend..” The girl sobs.
Jenny felt tears spilling down her cheeks. She was also crying.
“I understand. You know? I lost my brother too...and it was really hard for me. He was my everything...and I'm still not over it...but we have to move on. I don't think your sister will be happy to see you crying right? She will be sad. Do you want to see your sister sad?”
The girl shook her head.
“Then live. Live for your sister. Make friends, find love. Don't be stuck in the past, okay? Make sure your sister will be happy when she sees you from Heaven. Make her proud. I'm sure she'd like that.” Jenny softly smiles, patting her head. The girl looks at her.
“Did you move on? Did you make your brother happy?”
Jenny didn't know what to say.
She couldn't answer.
And she was saved.
“Giselle! Oh my dear! I was looking everywhere for you!!!” A woman rushes in.
“Mom!” The girl runs and hugs her mom.
“Where did you go?! I was so worried for you?! Don't do that ever again!!” she scolds.
“I'm sorry mom, I just wanted to buy some flowers for sissy. I wanted to see her.” Giselle looks down.
“That's okay. But let me know next time.” The woman looks at Jenny.
“Thank you so much for taking care of my daughter. Can I have a bouquet of roses?”
“Sure!” Jenny smiles as she immediately makes a bouquet for her.
The woman pays and thanks Jenny again. Then the mother and daughter leave, hand-in-hand. Jenny smiles at the pair. She saw so much love and wished that they'll be alright.
But the question the girl had asked lingered in her mind.
Did she really move on?

Jacob walks back to the shop, his mind in a mess. Something was wrong with Ava and he could tell. Both Eric and Ava hid something from him. He wanted to know what but they aren't telling. And Ava looked so pale and sick. He was worried for her.
Will she be alright?
He sighs as he opens the back door, only to bump into Jenny. She loses her balance and was about to fall before Jacob caught her, his arm around her waist. It was like time had stopped around them. He was so close. He wanted to kiss her. Oh wait. No he can't do that. He pulls away as he coughs, a little awkward. Jenny looks away, blushing. Cute.
“Where are you going?”
“Uhh I'm visiting someone...”
“Want me to come along?”
She immediately shakes her head.
“It's okay! I will be back soon!” She replies, running outside.
Jacob just stands there, a little surprised. Who was she going to meet? Why was she in a hurry? And why didn't she want him to go along?
He is cut off from his thoughts as Jenny runs back to him, gets on her tiptoes and kisses his cheeks.
He is stunned. He can hear her giggling as she runs away. He couldn't even react. He cups his cheek. She kissed him.
*She kissed my cheek….*
*She kissed me….*
*SHE KISSED ME!! HOLY—*
He laughs. He is still surprised that she kissed him. He laughs in disbelief. She kissed him? Is this a dream? He slaps himself. Ouch. Nope, it isn't.
He smiles, his face red. Still dazed, he walks in and sees her phone on the couch. Beside a bouquet of daisies. His stomach drops.
A bouquet? For who? Is she seeing someone?
*Absolutely the heck not. You know her Jacob! She isn't seeing anyone! Why would she kiss you then?!*
He still needed to know.
So he closed the shop, locked the door and walked out, her phone and bouquet in his hand. He puts her phone in his pocket as he walks. She shouldn't be far. It had been five minutes since she left.
He walks to the main street and looks to his right. No. She isn't there. The street isn't crowded so he can spot her easily. He turns to the left. And he spots her, at the very end. She took a right. He immediately runs after her.
*Whew! She walks fast!!* He thinks as he runs after her. He stops running when he gets close to her. He didn't want her to know he's following her. So he walked behind her. He was curious as to who she was going to meet.
After a while, she stops in front of a cemetery. He raises his eyebrows.
*What is she doing here?*
She looks back. He hides behind a tree. She shrugs as she turns back and walks in, not knowing that she's being followed. After a few minutes, he follows her, very curious now.
He stops as he sees her in front of a gravestone. She kneels down and caresses the stone. He couldn't see her face, but her posture told him that she was sad. He felt bad for her. She lost someone and it must've hurt so much. He walks closer to her, wanting to pull her into his embrace and comfort her.
But something stops him. The gravestone….
Something is wrong…
*Why is Jeff's name over there?*
