You were left speechless. Something about the way this man seemed to stare into the very depths of your soul... it sent chills down your spine. You felt your blood run cold in your veins, your skin prickling with goosebumps. He was absolutely terrifying.

"Well?" you blinked a few times, making your vision focus on the man's hand as he waved it in front of your face, "you know, it's rude to stare at people."

Your face burned hot at his words, embarrassed that you had once again been caught staring at an Afton. However, this was much different from the way you gazed upon Michael. You found yourself staring at Michael because you thought he was cute, but when it came to his father... it was almost as if you were afraid to take your eyes off of him.

"Come on, kid," the man suddenly grumbled, seeming to grow annoyed by your silence as his patience wore thin, "I haven't got all day. Are you looking for a job, or not?"

You finally worked up the courage to nod your head, gulping softly to get rid of the dryness in your throat, before finally speaking up. "U-Um... yes... I am looking for a job."

You couldn't help the tremble that wracked over your body as the man examined you once more, and you suddenly felt extremely self conscious. If you had known that you would have an on-the-spot interview, you would've gone home and changed into some more appropriate clothes. But here you stood in your baggy white T-shirt, wide-legged blue jean shorts, and your dirty white high-top converse. The contrast between your outfit and the one worn by the man in front of you was astonishing. You wished you could read his mind, to know what he was thinking in this moment, but you also knew that it would probably hurt your feelings.

After what felt like an eternity of him silently staring at you, the man finally spoke up once again. "Alright then," he crossed his arms back over his chest, before motioning with a jerk of his chin for you to follow him, "come along, we can have an interview right away."

Without another word, he began to walk off further into the restaurant; not giving you a moment to process what had happened, and not even bothering to look back and make sure you were actually following him. You exchanged another quick look with Scarlet, to which she simply gave a shrug. You gave her a nervous cringe, before quickly following after the man.

William lead you through the crowd of people, somehow managing to perfectly weave his way through without bumping into a single person, meanwhile, you were struggling to keep up with him as you squeezed your way passed the patrons. Not soon enough, you finally pushed passed the last person, and then began to follow him down that dark hallway where the costumed employees had emerged from earlier. Compared to the rest of the restaurant, this hall was extremely dark and quiet. The only light sources were the flickering old bulbs hanging from the roof, all spaced quite far apart. It seemed as if all the loud noises from earlier were trapped in the dining room, because it was eerily silent as you followed after him. The only sounds you heard came from the tapping of your shoes against the floor tiles, and your shaky breathing.

You passed a few doors on your way down the hall, and your eyes quickly glanced over the signs on each one. Storage, Parts and Service, Staff Lounge... Eventually, you reached the room at the very end of the hall.

William reached into the pocket of his jacket, pulling out a set of keys that jangled loudly, echoing around the quiet hall. He only took half a second to find the right key, and stuck it into the lock on the doorknob, before twisting it open. As he opened the door, allowing you to step in first, it was revealed that the room was an office of sorts. There was a desk pushed up against the wall; a computer sitting on top, along with piles of documents and a rusty old metal fan. Lining the wall behind the desk were a bunch of monitors, each one showing live camera feed from each room in the restaurant; besides the bathrooms, of course. Along each of the side walls, there were filing cabinets and storage closets, all filled to the brim with documents and blueprints; all talking about the restaurant and the animatronics. Obviously, a lot of planning went into this place, even if it didn't seem like it at first glance.
