Teri's POV

"Yes." I said. I didn't even have to think. I knew that this was the right thing. I knew that being in the same house as Sherri was what we both wanted and needed.

Still Teri's POV

It had been a month. Sherri and Kamar had gotten officially divorced just yesterday, and today was the day that I was moving into Sherri's house.
She arrived at my house in her new van to help me load everything up.

"Hey love!" She said kissing me on the front porch. "Do you have all of your stuff?"

"Yes, I do. And I'm so ready to start our new life together."
I said as I put my hands around her waist and kissed her forehead.

We loaded all of my things into her van, but the whole time, I couldn't focus on anything accept for what I was planning on asking her.
Once we finished loading in, I decided to get the ball rolling.

"Do you want to stop and grab a cup of coffee before your house?"

"Make that OUR house, Teri. And yes, I'd love to."
I smiled at the fact that she called it our house.

"Ok." I said "I'll pay."

When we got to the shop, we ordered our coffees and sat at a table for two with them.

"So I wanted to talk to you about something." I said, taking a sip of my coffee.

"What's up?" She asked.

"Well you know I love you, right?"

"Of course I do." She sounded nervous, "What's this about, babe?"

"Well," I continued, "seeing that now you are all mine, it got me thinking...we're not official."

"What do you mean?" She asked.

"We're not officially together...so that's why I wanted to come here. I wanted to ask you, Sherri, to...will you be my girlfriend?"

Sherri's smile grew five times bigger. She reached and put her hand on mine on top of the table. Her thumb rubbed back and forth on the top of my hand while she sat there, in all her beauty, smiling that beautiful smile at me.

"Oh just say something already, beautiful!" I said, getting nervous and embarrassed.

"Yes. I will Teri. I love you." She picked my hand up and kissed it.

"I love you too. And nothing will ever change that. Especially now that you're officially my girlfriend."

We sat there smiling at each other. When we finished our coffees, we headed to the parking lot and got into Sherri's van.
We pulled up in her driveway, and while she got out to start unloading things from the trunk, I sat there in the passengers seat for a few moments.
I thought to myself about what was happening. I was moving into my girlfriend's house. We were gonna live together. I was going to fall asleep and wake up next to her every single night. I could make her coffee in the morning and make love to her at night.

It was like a dream that was finally coming true.

AN: Sorry that was kind of shorter than my other chapters. I've officially decided there will only be one more chapter in this story:(

BUT!! I'm starting a new story and it's going to be about Stef and Lena. The first chapter of it will be published shortly after the last chapter of this is.

Please comment what you think I love reading your comments:)
