Of Anders and his life, all at once I'll sing;
feel the notes inside your mind.
He shall, two-thousand years ahead from now,
meet the Robot when he is young and innocent;
she sees light in him—
he strikes in her a cord that, horse-hair bow cut through
her heart's string, releases a weight of guilt
for past mistakes that, long avoided, lead her back
to unanswerable questions about her birth.
I wonder...if she'd known about the pain and joy
imminently building, as a tsunami unseen for miles
charges headlong towards a most precious and fragile shore
raging unstoppably underneath the surface,
would she have showed her godly majesty to him?
Did she still not yet know the earth-shattering
power of her spirit? I asked her that, once.
O immortal, ancient Goddess of pow'rlessness!
Free only to reminisce endlessly on things unchangeable...
So I understand why she didn't answer my inquiry,
but only spoke to me again about a spiritual leader,
hypocrite, who
ruined Anders childhood, and sent him on his Quest.
