Patrick ran through the fields. He knew, he just knew, that that man was responsible for everything. He was the reason for the cancer that plagued him for years. He kept running when suddenly the wind pushed him over. The entire world broke and he woke up on a bed. Patrick looked around and found his assistant. "What happened," he asked. The assistant spoke, "Well, you were kicked out of the dream world because you were trying to enter a suppressed part of your subconscious. Try again." Patrick went back to sleep, and this time, he was falling through a black hole. He swam through, trying to find the man. The black hole swallowed him and he ended up in a new location. A playground. He saw a past version of himself watching a past version of himself being approached by an old man. He knew it then. It was John Deer. He was never killed. The cult was never meant to kill people. It was meant to enlighten them. Suddenly the past version of himself watching the past version of himself pulled up a list of the past versions of him selves in this timeline. The present Patrick suddenly realized that by entering this timeline, he would be causing a paradox. He jumped forward screaming "NOOOOOOO" But it was too late. Patrick was sent through a vortex 5 years into the past, where it all started. The moment everything began. The moment the cancer would begin to plague him for the rest of his life. Maybe this time, he could stop it once and for all. Suddenly, Patrick was run over by a car, flattening him 75 years into the future. He lost his chance, and now, it seemed as though he would never get another one ever again. But in that moment, just before everything flashed before Patrick's eyes, the cult had a 12th victim. To be concluded in the prologue of the epilogue...
