It was strange waking up all alone I missed him so much I just wanted Thomas to be home so I could cuddle him And so I wouldn't worry about him so much off there fighting wars with the capital.
"My lady" a voice calls from my door
"Yes?" I asked sitting up and wrapping myself up in the bed
"A letter my lady" the woman says hurrying in with a letter
"Thank you" I nodded she quickly left so I looked at the letter and rested my head on the pillow opening it out to read
"My dearest y/n, my sweet little princess.
I miss you gravely, I yearn to return to your sweet embrace, to our luxurious bed snuggled together, I long for this was to be over so I can return to you and give you all the kisses I save for you, I cannot deny the troubles we face princess, we have lost many men and will surely lose more, casualties are high too with our enemy, at this time it is impossible to tell the way this shall go, but I long to return home to my little princess, when I have more time I shall write to you again my love. Keep safe, I love you very much, and I can't wait to come home x

I smiled widely thinking that he thought of me being so far away, so busy with his ear yet he still took the time to put pen to paper to tell me how much he missed me it made me feel so bubbly and happy snuggling with his pillow hugging it close imagining him here with me.
