I went closer running my hand across the sculpted flowers when I heard a voice behind me
"My lady?"
I turned and saw the head advisor an older man named Richard I nodded and he smiled to me
“You have someone to meet you in the garden my lady" he says I nodded and walked out to the vast gardens there where many people in the gardens lords and ladies I knew well and the figure I had expected I went over and he turned to me he was as I expected the Shadow of his mother and father with bouncy dark brown hair, and a fairly muscular build he seemed sweet nervous undeniably but sweet all the same
"My lady" he greeted
"My lord" I bowed "it is a pleasure to finally meet you, I look forward to being your wife"
"And I too look forward to you being my wife, I know… this is something neither is us wanted but we must make the best of it, for the kingdom"
"For the kingdom" I nodded.
That very afternoon in the gardens we stood by the pond, his hand on mine. It all seemed so fast and so strange but I know my duty, and like that I was married to a man I barely even knew who I had met hours ago. He held me close and lead us inside the castle to the hall people from all over the lands where here and again it all seemed so fast as soon enough the crown rested upon my head and for the first time in my life I was allowed to sit upon the throne it was more uncomfortable then I had imagined it to be he offered his hand so I took it gently
"Arthur."
"What?"
"My name? Is arthur" he says
"Y/n. I promise I shall do my duty, be your queen and all the roles that shall intale"
"And I promise the same my queen"
