"Hey sis, I'm going to Ohio with Jacob for a few weeks." Max says.
"Oooh. Sounds fun." I say.
"Is that ok with you?" Max asks.
"Yeah! You need a break." I say.
"I love you El!" Max says. She hugs me and runs to her bedroom to pack.
I laugh and go watch some TV.
"Two more people have gone missing in Seattle. There is no trace of where they went, or who took them." I sigh. Is this what Edward was talking about?
Max walks downstairs with a suitcase.
"Jacob is picking me up." She says. "I'm gonna miss you El." She says.
I hug her. "Be safe. And have fun!" I say as she gets into Jacobs car. When they drive away, I drive to the Cullens.

"So what exactly do you think is happening?" I ask.
"Newborns." Jasper says. "Someone is making a newborn army." He says.
"But why would they take your family members? They are already vampires." I say.
"We don't know." Alice says. "I can't see anything."
"Can you try to see something?" I ask.
"It doesn't work that way." Alice says.
"I have to go home. It's getting dark." I say. I leave the house and I start driving home.
At my house, I get a shower, and go into the woods and eat. After that, I go back into my house and I start watching TV.
A few hours later, there is a knock on the door. I get up and I answer it.
"Hello." Someone says. A bag goes over my head, I can't see anything.

The bag is taken off and there is a big redhead staring at me. I seem to be tied to a medical bed. My sleeves are pulled up.
"W-who are you?" I ask.
"I'm Victoria. James's mate." She says.
"What do want with me Vicky?" I ask.
"Don't call me Vicky. I am going to experiment on you. It didn't work on the rest of the Cullen family, it may work on you." Victoria says.
"What kind of experiment?" I ask.
"I am want you to feel pain, a pain that will never go away, like how you killed James, my mate." Victoria says. "Except this pain isn't emotional, this pain is physical. I will make vampires have physical pain." She ties a cloth around my mouth.
A bunch of people with needles go to my arms and inject me with a serum. Pain fills my body, I scream. It feels like minutes of pain but only 15 seconds later, it stops.
"Owwww." I say. I haven't felt pain in a while.
Victoria walks over to my ankle.
"I wonder...." She says. She snaps my ankle and I hear it crack.
"OWWW!!" I scream.
Victoria smiles. "It worked!!! I did it!!" She yells.
