Mom and I got home and I set my backpack down by the couch. I sat down at the dining table and started eating the spaghetti that my dad made. Jason. I need to check my phone when I'm done with dinner. I need to talk to him. I quickly finish up dinner and clean up my plate and the table. I run upstairs and change into my pajamas, a cami and some sweatpants. I pick up my phone and open up messages. Jason texted me. I smile and read it. It says, "Hey, cutie. I just wanted to be able to talk to you at some point. And, I love you. Talk to you later. <3."
My heart floats and flies. Jason is so sweet. He called me a cutie and he loves me. He LOVES me. I smile and blush harder than I ever have before. Jason is so perfect. I know I'm only 12 and we've only known each other for a few days, but Jason and I really connect. Really well. We love each other, and we have the same likes and we are both kind and loving towards each other. We are just perfect together. I know it's early, but I feel that he's the one for me. I decide to text him back while I'm on this level of cloud nine. I text, "Hey, I can talk now. I love you too."
I smile and blush at what I wrote. I love you. Three words that when put together are so strong in meaning. I love you. I love you, Jason. I love you. It's so great, this feeling. This feeling that you love somebody, and that somebody loves you back. It makes me smile and blush. It makes me laugh and giggle. It makes me want to fly and soar and show the whole world this amazing feeling. Love. Love is amazing. My phone beeps. It's Jason requesting to video chat. I accept and then it loads.
Jason's face appears. His deep brown eyes, his muddy brown hair and perfect bangs. His sweet dimples as he smiles at me. "Hi," I say.
"Hey," he replies.
"So, what do you want to talk about. Homework?" I wink. Jason laughs. His eyes sparkle when he does. He is so hot.
"No, I just wanted to talk to you. To hear your beautiful voice that sings. To see your beautiful face." He smiles at me. I blush hard and flirtatiously brush hair out of my face. Sometimes, Olivia's tips are sorta helpful.
"You think I'm beautiful?" I ask. I know people say I am, but I just can't believe that Jason actually thinks that, being so perfect himself.
"Of course, you are beautiful. Anybody who doesn't think so is so out of their mind or is blind." He laughs. "And I am serious, about this."
"Really?" I say. He does think I'm beautiful. "Thanks, Jason. And just so you know, you are handsome yourself. In fact, every time I see you, my heart melts a little you are so cute."
"Oh, really?" He says, grinning at me.
"Yes, really." I reply with a smile. We laugh at each other and smile. Jason is so hot when he laughs, his eyes twinkle and become a little brighter. His perfect smile sparkles and shines, and his dimples seem to smile, too. His skin seems to become even more smooth and perfect looking. His face just lights up the room he's in. How could anybody resist his looks? He should be 'popular.' I mean, he is definitely cute enough, just doesn't have the right sporty interests. He should be 'popular.' It just seems right.
I look back at the screen of my phone. Jason is still staring at me. "Hey," I say, "It's nine. I should be heading to bed."
"Yeah, I need to be going to sleep." Jason says, "I'm sad to go."
"Me, too." I say. Jason's eyes are locked right into mine.
"I love you," he says.
"I love you, too." I say.
"Good night." He says.
"Good night," I say. I blow a kiss to Jason and hang up. I put down my phone and put it into my charger. I go into my bathroom and brush my teeth. I go back to my bed and go under the covers. I smile and blush, remembering my conversation from earlier with Jason. I sigh and close my eyes. I quickly fall asleep and into a dream.
