Ten Years and Two Months Later...................
I walk into the church with a dress in my hand. Today is the day I am marrying the love of my life. Jason Lupus. I will be Tara Lupus. I squeal with joy. I can't wait. I look back to two months ago today. The day Jason proposed. Our ten year anniversary.
I already knew that night that it was going to be a great date. I dressed up into a flowy purple dress And put my hair into a bun and curled the stragglers. I looked into the mirror. It looked great. I then grabbed my wallet and I heard my apartment's door bell ring. "It's open!" I yelled.
I heard the door open and heard Jason's voice say, "Tara I'm going to sit on the couch."
"Ok, I'll be out in a second." I replied. Then walked out into the living room and saw Jason in a tux. He looked at me, apparently stunned.
"You l-look a-amazing." Jason stuttered standing up.
"Thanks." I said, blushing hard. Jason always said nice things. "Are we going to the restaurant?" I asked after waiting a minute while Jason marveled at me. Little did he know, he looked just as amazing. The tux showed his muscles just slightly, I sighed happily. He looked way hot.
"You know, I was thinking lately...." Jason started.
"Yes?" I asked.
"And I've realized. We've been together for ten years today. I love you so so much. And I can't imagine being with anybody else but you. You are perfect, and it makes me think of all those years ago when we promised to never give up on each other. We kept it. And now I must ask you." He dropped on one knee and I gasped. "Will you make me the happiest man in the entire world and marry me?"
I started tearing up and nodded, "Yes!" I exclaimed between tears. I rushed over to him and kissed him. We stayed there for like five minutes. I broke and said "I love you more than the world."
"Me too." I hugged Jason.
"Can we just hang out here?" I asked.
"Sure." He said. That night we watched a movie and then fell asleep. I remember I woke up in his arms. It made me smile. Jason was perfect for me.
Back to today, I walk into my room where I will be getting ready for my wedding. I walk inside and I'm greeted by my bridesmaids, Hannah, Katy, Sadie, and Penelope. "Hi!" I say, excitedly.
"Get into the dress!" Exclaims Hannah. I am so happy she has stayed my best friend for this long. I get into my gown and looked into the mirror. It has a tight, fitting bodice with lace along the top. It was strappless and has a sweetheart neckline. It is glittery and has a v shape into the skirt. The skirt is long and poofs out after the bodice then calms down by my feet. It has a three foot train and has glittery tool over the silkyness of the real skirt. I have white flats to go with the dress. I sit down onto the chair and say, "Let's get started!"
Katy starts curling my hair and makes into waves with some strict curls. It looks beautiful. "Wow." I mutter under my breath. Then Sadie starts on my makeup. It's just some blush, light eye shadow, and some rosy lipstick. It looks beautiful and natural. Then I hear the music start. I rush to get up and meet my dad in the aisle.
I look up to Jason. He looks so handsome in his tux. His untamed hair that swishes across his forhead. His deep brown eyes. Don't get distracted! I think to my self. Eventually I get up to the alter and the ceremony starts. I just wait until I say my two words. Eventually, it's time.
"Do you, Jason Lupus, take Tara Dane to be your lawfully wedded wife?" The priest asks.
"I do." he says, with a grin.
"Do you, Tara Dane, take Jason Lupus to be your lawfully wedded husband?" The priest asks.
"I do." I smile.
"You may now kiss the-" the priest is cut off because Jason couldn't wait. He leans down and kisses me. I put my arms around his neck. I love Jason so much.
