chapter 6- minecraft

-Ranboo POV-

This night I couldn't stop thinking about the letter I got the day before. What if it's not some stupid prank? What if someone genuinely has a crush on me? I couldn't help but like the idea that someone would actually like me. I brushed the thought off quickly, thats a stupid thought, no one would ever even want to be my friend. And if they do... well that doesn't happen.

I go to school and see Dream waiting by my locker. I did need some books so I had no choice but to go up to him. "Hey there mArK. Did you get any valentine's letters?" he was grinning. I rolled my eyes, of course he knows about the letter. The little hopes I had that the letter was genuine were lost. I'll just play along though. "Yeah weirdly enough I actually got one. I can't believe anyone would ever want me." He snorted. "Yea me neither," You can see he's trying his hardest to keep his laughter in,"okay buh-bye I have to go to my FRIENDS, but you probably don't even know what that word means but I don't feel like explaining." He walked away laughing and I just sighed, relieved that he's finally gone.

I was about to go off to my first class, I still had 10 more minutes but then I could already take my seat or something when I heard a voice behind me. "Hey there Ranboo!" It was Tubbo. I sighed relieved and turned around to greet him. "Hi Tubs, why are you here? Tommy is over there." "Oh yeah I know, Tommy has a different class than me and I saw you also have physics right now. Mind if I join you to class?" he asked. I smiled and nodded, I kinda like his company actually.

We walked to class and just did some small talk. When we got to class Tubbo sat next to me, he started to feel like an actual friend, I think I could get used to this.

During class Tubbo passed me a note. Wanna hang out after school? it read. I smiled and nodded slightly to not draw too much attention from the teacher to us. Tubbo smiled back.

-Tubbo POV-

I liked Ranboo and I really wanted him to be my friend. He knew how to make me smile by just existing and I absolutely loved that about him- I mean.- you know what, whatever...

I exited the classroom together with Ranboo and saw Tommy waiting. I quickly walked away and left Ranboo alone, he walked away after too. Tommy gave me a questionable look. "Still hanging out with the weird kid?" I nodded without thinking. "We just have class the same hour thats it I swear." Tommy's look softened and he nodded. "Okay I believe you, for now at least..." And he started walking away.

I had sent Ranboo a message with my adress for after school. I also asked my mum if it was okay if he came over and she was fine with it. The day came to an end and I walked back home.

About 15 minutes after I was home I heard the bell. I made my way downstairs to open the door but Lani, my sister was quicker. "Who are you and what do you want? We don't buy shit at the door." I push her out of the way so I could let Ranboo come in. "He's here for me Lani, you go back to your room and do your homework or whatever you were doing." She rolled her eyes and did as I told her. I turned back to Ranboo with a smile. "Come in! Welcome!" "Thanks," he said.

We went to my room and played minecraft dor a bit. We tried to speedrun, or at least Ranboo tried to speedrun. I was just joking around most of the time. When we were in the end I wasn't of much help either. Ranboo had full iron armor and a diamond axe, I had 20 blocks of dirt, some saplings and a crafting table. I had the amazing idea to put down the table and go stand on it. "Hey there Boo~" Ranboo turned his character around and didnt move, he gave me an IRL death glare and I think I noticed some blush underneath his mask? No that was probably just the lightning.

We wrapped up the whole minecraft thing and went to sit on my bed. "That was fun" he said. "Yeah you're very fun to be around, I don't get why people don't like you, you're amazing!" I looked at him and smiled widely. He looked back and tried to reproduce the smile but failed and averted his eyes. "I don't really think I am, if I actually were that amazing, why does no one like me or tries to avoid me?" He said looking down at the floor. I moved closer to him and our arms brushed against each other. "Because they're assholes and they're too caught up in their own fucking drama to see this beautiful person sitting next to me as he is." I playfully punched his shoulder. Then I realized what I just said out loud and felt my face heat up, I don't think Ranboo noticed because his face was planted in his hands. He started to laugh and soon I joined in. After a good laugh we looked at each other. "Thank you," Ranboo said smiling, "Although I don't completely agree with you, it still means a lot to me."
