Chapter 19- Busride

Hi y'all, me again, sorry. I am very sorry for not updating as much as before and I also already want to apologise for upcoming weeks as I won't update as much (exams, ya know) I know a lot of you don't read this shit and just want to go on to the story but I just wanted to say thank you for all the reads and for staying around till this chapter, and sorry again for not having the motivation or energy to write. Thanks for all the reads and votes :D

-Tubbo POV-

My dad dropped me off near the school to leave for the school trip. I was a little bit stressed because, even though I was friends with the 'popular guy' from our school, I didn't really have a stong bond with a lot of my classmates. I will also be sharing a room with Ranboo, which I'm kinda excited about. 

Me and my dad said our goodbyes and I walked over to the school gates where the rest of the class group was standing. Ranboo was already there so I gave him a small and quick wave before walking toward my usual friend group.

"Hey guys," I greeted while smiling. "Hey Toby," Dream said, smiling back at me. I looked over to Tommy but he was avoiding all of my attempts to make eyecontact.

"So Tommy, you maybe want to sit together on the bus? Like old times?" Tommy shrugged, "Me and Dream we're already gonna sit together, you can go sit with your new 'best friend/ roommate' or whatever. And it's not 'old times' anymore, remember."

On one hand I was dissapointed with his answer, with the whole conversation we had the other day, I kind of missed the old times too, but I guess he really took my words to heart then. 

On the other hand, sitting with Ranboo didn't sound like that bad of an idea either, so I waved my friends goodbye and walked up to him.

Ranboo was on his phone with his back was turned to me when I walked towards him. "Whatcha doin' big guy?" I asked him energetic. Too energetic apparently, because he almost dropped his phone, turning around startled. I burst out laughing. "Do you really have that bad of a conscience?" He calmed down and joined my laughter, "I guess so."

"So, do you wanna sit together on the bus?" I asked hopefully. "Ofcourse I want that, but won't Tommy be upset at you for ditching him for me?" "Don't worry bossman, he won't kill us." I grabbed his hand and dragged him towards the bus.

We got on the bus and found ourselves a seat. Ranboo was seated at the window. We did a bit of smalltalk waiting for the bus to start driving. When everyone was seated the bus left the school. The ride was probably gonna take about 3 to 4 hours, depending on the traffic.

"Hey Tubs, I'm going to listen to some music, wanna listen in?" Ranboo asked me holding out one earbud. 

I nodded and plugged in the earbud he handed me, he played a song I've never heard before, but it sounded quite good. "What's this song?" I asked. "Oh, it's lemon demon, probably one of my favorite bands ever. The song is called cabinet man." He answered while bobbing his head to the music. He's so lost in his music, it's adorable.

A few other songs passed by as we stared out the window. I must've fallen asleep, I blinked and we were there. 

Ranboo was slightly nudging me to wake up. When I fully woke up, I noticed my head was lying on his shoulder. I swiftly retracted my head and felt blush spread onto my face. I looked away from Ranboo so he wouldn't see it and started grabbing all my stuff to leave.

-Ranboo POV-

I woke up still in the bus when the teachers were annoucing we were almost there.

I wanted to stretch my arms out but felt something weigh down my shoulder. I looked towards the weight and saw a beautiful brunette sleeping peacefully. I admired all of his features; his brown locks that were covering his closed eyes at the moment, the occasional freckles on his nose and cheeks.

I was staring at the boy who made my heart flutter until I felt the bus come to a stop.

"Shit I gotta wake up Tubbo," I thought to myself. I started softly nudging his shoulder so he'd wake up. "Hey, Tubbo," I wispered, "it's time to wake up, we're here. 

Slowly Tubbo started waking up. His eyes fluttered open, he looked at me and gave me a sleepy smile until his eyes widened and he quickly pulled away. 

He turned his face away from me and started grabbing his stuff. He tried to hide it, but I saw that his face has reddened, and not just a little. I smiled to myself and grabbed my stuff too before getting out of the bus.

This week might not be as bad as I thought it would be.
