chapter 26- First game

A/N: Yo guys, I'm very sorry for not uploading in a while, I haven't been motivated and school is getting the best of me. So I've decided this story is going to come to an end, I have  planned out the next few chapters (they still have to be written though) so the story still has a nice ending. 

I'm having exams the next couple of weeks so don't expect any updates then, after that I have two weeks of vacation so I'll try to finish the story then.  I'm very sorry to keep you guys waiting and I'm very thankful for all of the support <3  Now, on with the story shall we!

Also, i don't remember how long i said the trip was going to be but its gonna end at 3 days + a 4th one for leaving

Ranboo POV:

When everyone was done eating breakfast, one of the teachers started tried grabbing everyone's attention to make an announcement. "Good morning students, I hope you all slept well. As some of you may know, it's tradition to end the school trip with a dance party, you can have dates but it's not mandatory." 

This is it, my chance to actually ask him out. I smiled to myself while the teacher continued, "We expect you tomorrow at 7 pm on the field outside, there will be drinks and food for free. You will also have the whole day free to pack and get ready since were leaving first thing the morning after. As for today, you will be divided in groups of two and we'll play a couple of fun games and the winners can win a cake to celebrate. I think that's all for today, I'll see you in half an hour on the field to start the games."

From the moment she finished talking the whole room was filled with chatter discussing the dance and who's gonna pair up with who for the games. I looked over at Tubbo and he smiled back at me, obviously we are going to pair up.

When we were ready to go we went to the field where our teachers and some other students were already waiting for us.

"So, first game," the teacher started, "all of you will have one arm and one leg tied to one another and you'll try to run as fast as possible to the other side of the field."

Everyone got their ropes and tied themselves to each other. Feeling Tubbo's arm and leg pressed so closely made my heart beat a little harder, i know we've kissed and all, but I still have to get used to these small things.

"You good bossman?", i heard Tubbo ask next to me. I felt his eyes burn through the side of my face and my face began heating up . I nodded without looking back at him. "You sure? You look all red and shit." I turn to look at him to try to convince him I'm fine. When he sees my face his concerned face was swiftly replaced with a smug grin. "Aww are you still that nervous 'boo? We're not even that close to each other right now." Tuboo sai das he gave me a playful nudge. I chuckled a bit before redirecting my attention back to the field, as the game was about to start.

Tubbo POV:

Ranboo and I clumsily made our way over to the starting point. "Everyone ready?" the teacher asked, "TREE, TWO, ONE, GO!" 

Everyone, including us started making our way over the field, most duo's were walking but some took the risk of running. Tommy and Dream did, for example, they ran like they were one and in a matter of seconds they were on the other side of the field. Man, they must really want that cake.

Another duo taking that risk were Aimsey and Bill, or rather just bill. afther a few meters they had already fallen down and were argueing about who's fault it was. 

Before I really noticed it, Ranboo and I had made our way over to the other side of the field. 

"TUBS, WE MADE IT!" Ranboo said, glowing in excitement. It didn't taker long before I leveled with his excitement. "YES 'BOO! WE DID IT!" I grabbed him into a hug. "I'm kinda surprised we didn't fall halfway through," I said into the hug. Ranboo pulled away looking at me with an "offended" look, "I know I can be clumsy at times, but I'm still fully capable of... a lot of things, alright?" "Yep, totally," I agreed with a grin plastered on my face. He rolled his eyes and shook his head while untying our limbs from one another. 

We get a quick break while the teachers prepare our next game, transporting water to the other side of the field after spinning around 5 times.

So Ranboo and I went to Aimsey and Bill. "Hey guys, how did you guys do?" I asked, it was obvious they didn't do well if you can judge by their faces. They both looked pissed and were ignoring each others excistance, while covered in dirt. Bill noticed us and started smiling again, "Toby, Ran! Don't worry about our placement, if I weren't with Aimsey, I'd be number one."

This triggered Aimsey, "Hey, remind me, who was it that suddenly started running after we discussed that we'd walk so we wouldn't fall? Hmmm?" Bill just rolled his eyes, "Anyways, did you guys do good?" The excitement reappeared in Ranboo's eyes, "Yes, we got 4th!" Ranboo said, full of pride. 

We catted some more until we heard our teachers yell, "Everyone, get in place! The next game is about to start."

Again, I'm so sorry for keeping you guys waiting for so long and making promises I can't keep. I'll try my hardest to finish the story as fast as possible.
