it hasn't been long
but I notice you
and it's simply
beautiful
the way your eyes sparkle
when you're focused on what I say
the way they clench
when you smile
i notice your jitters
when you're angry
but altogether i notice you
and you,..... is beautiful
the car rides blasting our hearts out
with the frustrations and problems of the past
the complications at home
and dealing with the monsters in our mind
you know as well as me,
that for a moment,
it's just us...
