A Returning Legend (Destiny 2 X Azur Lane)

Location: Azur Lane Base, Atlantic Ocean.

With the arrest of Eric and his men, peace has come over to the base...well not necessarily. You see since Eric told his men to raise hell. The soldiers started to shoot at the base, which means a lot of the Port is damaged. Like really damaged. Not only the Port is damaged, but some of the volleys also hit the girl's dorm. Utterly destroying everything. Of course, as Jasper is the commander. He will have to make the Port have more defenses and also rebuild the girl's dorm. But before all that, let's go back after Eric's arrest.

"Welp looks like I'll have to use some of my money to fix this." Jasper thought. Both Isaac and Jasper head toward the base. The base is tarnished from Eric's invasion.

"Damn...this is going to be very harsh for the base's budget," Isaac commented.

"Why?" Jasper asks.

"While the Manjuu can fix all of this, in a few hours. The problem is the materials, they need." Isaac explains as they arrive at the port. "And the materials they need are really expensive. But fucking hell the damage is worse up close."

"Admiral! Shikikan!" Amagi's voice can be heard. Both men look to their right and see the Kansens coming over to them. 

"Amagi! Everyone! You girls, okay?" Isaac asks.

"Hai, Admiral. No casualties on our own side but...a lot were injured." Amagi reported. Isaac clicked his tongue in frustration.

"Damn it! Well...that's good there are no casualties but still..." He ponders. Amagi then looks at Jasper. Both made eye contact before Jasper looking the other direction. Amagi didn't like this as she goes towards him.

"Shikikan." She said in a dark tone. Jasper jerked up as his body starts to shake while still looking away from her. Again, Amagi didn't like that as she stops right in front of Jasper. "Look at me, Shikikan."

Jasper slowly turns his head to face Amagi. He can see how pissed off she is. "H-Hey, A-Amagi. H-How you-."

Suddenly Jasper got slapped in the face. Everyone is shocked, even Jasper was stunned by this. Silence came over.

"...A-Amagi?" He asks.

"N-Nee-sama...?" Akagi questions.

"Why..." She spoke in a low tone.

"W-What?"

"WHY DIDN'T YOU LISTEN TO ME!? I DIDN'T WANT YOU TO STAIN YOURSELF WITH HUMAN BLOOD! WHY DID YOU HAVE TO KILL THOSE MEN SO MERCILESSLY!? WHY DID YOU LOOK LIKE A MONSTER WHEN YOU KILLED THEM!? WHY DID YOU TORTURE THAT BOY!? WHY!? WHY!? WHY!?" Amagi screamed as tears rolled over her eyes. She aggressively grabs his already tarnished armor and brings him closer to her. Her eyes filled with tears and she was gritting her teeth to the point that it might break.

"O-Oi...Amagi. Please, calm down." Isaac says as he tries to deescalate the situation.

"CALM DOWN!? I NEED ANSWERS, ADMIRAL! HE ALSO FOUGHT YOU!" Amagi responded back.

"Amagi. Stop." Jasper said in a commanding tone while exerting terrifying pressure. Everyone felt this and started to shake. Amagi slowly lets go of his armor. Jasper sighs.

"You need my answer? So be it. I will only say this once. I do not regret killing those humans. You girls should know the world isn't all rainbow and happiness. No. The world is a cruel place. Filled with violence, betrayal, corruption, death, and war. The moment Eric and his men attack the base. I've already deemed them as a threat to Humanity. And why did I torture Eric? It's simple really and all of you should know the answer. He was one of your former commanders who abused all of you. He and his men will hurt you. Simple as that."
