Location: Azur Lane Base, Atlantic Ocean.
Jasper and the girls set out to find the Metas that have arrived. They left the base and of course, Jasper told the faction leader about it. They all wanted to go but Jasper denied their request. Right now, they are sailing south on top of Yorktown Meta's ship. More specifically on the bow.
"In about 40 nautical miles left, we should see the Metas soon," Jamie said. Jasper nodded. Then he looks at Helena Meta and Yorktown Meta.
"Helena. Yorktown. Do you two know who are the Metas that arrived?" He asks.
Yorktown Meta nodded. "Yes, Commander. They are Yamashiro Meta, Fusou Meta, Sheffield Meta, and Memphis Meta."
Jasper and the girls were shocked to the core. But the most who was more shocked is Yamashiro and Fusou.
"U-Us!?" Fusou asks in a worried tone. Helena Meta nodded.
"Yes, but don't worry. They still retain some of their former selves but...their personality is different from you two. I'm sure everything will be fine."
"I-Is...t-that so...hehhe." Yamashiro chuckled nervously.
"Helena. Yorktown." Jasper says.
"Yes, Commander?" Yorktown answers.
"I hope those girls won't be trouble. Cause, I don't want any of my girls to get hurt."
"Your worries are assured, Commander. Have faith in us." Helena said.
"I agree, Shikikan. Judge someone based on their personality, not their appearance." Amagi chimes in.
"All I'm doing is being cautious, they may share the same name with your fellow Kansens. But as Helena said. Their personality is different. We must stay vigilant."
"Commander, I understand your point of view. But please trust us when we say that they know their morals. Even though, they have gone and embraced Siren Tech. They still have the duty to protect Humanity." Yorktown said.
Jasper sighs. "Fine, but the moment they become hostile. I will have to use force, understood?"
Helena Meta and Yorktown nodded.
Then Jasper turns around to look at NJ, Bremerton, and Baltimore who are sightseeing.
"You girls doing okay back there?" He asks.
"Oh, we are fine. Just sightseeing, that's all." Bremerton answered.
"Yeah, it feels nice to feel the breeze. The fresh air and the ocean waves." NJ said as she stretches.
"What about you, Commander? You seem to be on guard on the Metas." Baltimore asks.
"When it comes to meeting new people, I'm always on guard. But when I get used to them, that's when I'll lower my guard."
"Forgive me, Commander. But it sounds like you're paranoid when it comes to meeting new people." New Jersey commented.
"Yeah... no worries, I'm not offended. It's just...I have experience things that made me like this."
"Is...that...so? S-Sorry..." New Jersey muttered. Jasper chuckles as he walks over to her. Then he pats her head which made NJ blush a bit.
"As I said, don't worry about it. For now, let's focus on the task at hand. Jamie?"
"We have about 25 nautical left. Though...it seems they are starting to move towards our position." Jamie reported.
"Jamie is right, Commander. In about 30 minutes, we may soon see them." Helena reported.
