After Jasper's talk with Observer Alpha, he went back to the base. Walking along the smooth path, he turns to his left and sees the port. The lights of the buildings were off but he could see the silhouettes of the buildings just barely thanks to the street lights of the port. He feels the breeze of the ocean hitting his face as he continues to smoke. It was quiet and still. He goes over to a nearby bench and sits down. He sighs heavily, still having the cigar in his mouth. He takes it out and puffs out the smoke. Then he drops the cigar and stomps on it. He leans back on the bench and looks up at the night sky.
"...I pray...that...Humanity will not see the return of the Black Fleet." Jasper mutters. Then he hears footsteps to his right.
"Hm? Oh, Shikikan. A pleasure to see you here." A female voice greets. Jasper looks to his right and sees a woman with brown hair and two white horns sticking out at the side of her head.

"Oh...hello..." Jasper says but stops as he doesn't know the girl's name.
"Ah, forgive me. This is the first time we met, huh?" The girls said. Jasper nods. She smiles as she walks near him. "May I sit here?"
Again, Jasper nodded. Then the girl sits down next to Jasper.
"My name is Mikasa. IJN Mikasa. I am a pre-dreadnought battleship of the Sakura Empire and the flagship of the First Fleet!" The girl named Mikasa proudly introduce herself. Suddenly, Jasper grabbed his head upon hearing dreadnought again. Mikasa noticed this and immediately became worried.
"Shikikan! A-Are you okay?" She asks in an anxious tone. She tries to reach out and comfort him but Jasper holds up his right hand to stop him
"I-I'm fine..." He says. Mikasa knows he is lying but decided not to pry on it.
"Alright then...Shikikan." She says. Then the two sit quietly. Both were in an awkward situation. Jasper then fake coughed to ease the mood
"S-So...what are you doing out strolling, Mikasa?"
"I was...just patrolling around before I go to the bathhouse," Mikasa says.
"Is that so?" Jasper asks. Mikasa nodded.
"What about you, Shikikan? What were you doing all by yourself way out of the base?"
"...Just clearing my mind of some stuff that came up." He says.
"I see. Well, whatever it is. You can overcome it, Shikikan." Mikasa said while trying to encourage Jasper. He smiles.
"...Thanks, Mikasa," Jasper said. Then the awkward atmosphere came to be again. Then Jasper gets up and stretches. "Wanna go to the bathhouse together?"
Mikasa was taken aback by the sudden question to which she blushes.
"E-Eh? Y-You want me to go with you to the bathhouse!?" She asks. Jasper tilts his head in confusion about why her reaction is like that.
