Broken Relations (Warrior Cats S2 Book 1)

Interlude

2 cats stood there, and they stared down at what it was that was going on in front of them right now, all at the exact same time too. It had been so many moons since the last time that the 2 had in fact been together like this. Father and daughter, staring down at the lake, as this time, it was not quite as bad, and not quite as stressful as the last time that they had.
It was not good to bring up the last time, as that was when it all had gone bad, and they did not want to jinx it again. Things could easily fall in to pieces at any moment if they were not careful. There was still a ton of cats that were in fact at the lake, and that did in fact not believe in Starclan still.
That was what happened last time, as all of the cats had not believed in Starclan. They had felt like they could do what ever it was that they wanted, and there would be no repercussions for it, all at the exact same time as well, none the less. How ever, that was simply just not the case, as that was what had made it all end so badly, and so gruesomely last time, all at the exact same time too.
How ever, those times were in the past, as it was time for a new dawn, and it was time for a new era in the clans, none the less. How ever, one of these 2 cats was still the daughter after all, and she felt like she could not help but to be a little bit anxious about this all. She then all of the sudden began to start to turn her head over to her father, all at the exact same time as well.
She looked at her father right in to her eyes, as her father blinked his eyes a few times. He was not all too sure as to just what it was that was going on with her. How ever, based off of the look that she had in her eyes right now, he had to guess that it was not any thing that was any sort of good, as he had seen that look on her face more than once.
The tom cat let out a bit of a soft sigh to him self, all at the exact same time too, that she cat did not seem to notice what so ever. In the end, he then all of the sudden did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and he did in fact begin to nod to her all of the sudden. It was clear that he was in fact letting her know that he was in fact paying attention to her right now, all at the exact same time too.
It did in fact seem to calm the she cat down quite a bit, as she let out a much more heavy sigh to her self, all at the exact same time as well. She then did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead and begin to start to speak up to her father, all at the exact same time too. She did in fact now realize that he was in fact beginning to start to listen as to just what it was that she even had to say to him in the very first place any ways, at that.
"Can you not help but think that this is all going to end badly like it did last time FireStar? These cats have no idea what they are doing, and they seem to have no clue as to what the warrior code is what so ever!" She said to her father, all at the same time as well, as she then all of the sudden began to start to shuffle her paws quite a bit, all at the exact same time too.
It was clear that she was quite a bit uncomfortable, and that she was in fact quite a bit lost in her own head, with the thoughts that she had in fact said to her father, all at the exact same time too, at that. She tried to stay as calm as she felt like she possibly could, but it also kind of felt quite a bit hard, if she was in fact going to be for real with her self, once again. She kind of just began to start to breath in quite a bit heavily to her self all of the sudden, as she then all of the sudden got her mind, and her focus off of all of the rest of those other thoughts, once again.
FireStar just looked at his daughter right in to her eyes for quite a bit of some time, until he then all of the sudden began to start to look back down on the lake, all at the exact same time as well. He kind of felt like she had a bit of a fair point, but he also kind of felt like she was a bit wrong. There was a lot of things that was wrong with just what it was that she had in fact said to him, all at the exact same time too, none the less.
He just was not all too sure as to just what it was that he should say back to his daughter, nor what it was that would in fact ease her pain, and ease her stress, all at the exact same time too. He kind of just stared down at the lake that was below him for quite a bit of some time, as he then all of the sudden blinked his eyes a few times, all at the exact same time too. He was not all too sure as to just what it was that he should even be doing right at this very moment in time as well, if he was in fact going to be for real with him self, none the less.
He closed his eyes for a short period of time, as that seemed to work some what, and it seemed to get his mind off of some of the things that he had been thinking on long before now, all at the exact same time too. He just kind of stood there, and he stayed in place for a little bit longer. It was clear that his daughter was growing more and more anxious, and more and more worried by each and every moment.
She had worked so hard to bring the cats here, she could not help but to be worried that her plan, and her destiny in the after life might have failed in the end, none the less. FireStar knew exactly as to just what it was that she was in fact thinking on, all at the exact same time too. He had seen it time and time from her in his life, and he felt like he needed to think of some thing to calm his daughter down, all at the exact same time too.
FireStar kept his eyes closed for just a little bit longer, as he did his best to think on some thing. That was when it all of the sudden began to start to come to mind to him, and it then all of the sudden began to start to make sense to him, all at the exact same time as well. That was of course, as to all that was even going on right now, none the less.
FireStar quickly began to start to open his eyes, all at once, as he then blinked his eyes a few times over to his daughter all of the sudden. His daughter had her head tilted towards him right now, as it was clear that she was a little bit lost as to just what it was that was even going on with him right now. In the end how ever, FireStar did in fact nod to her, all at the exact same time too.
It was clear that he was trying to let his daughter know that he was in fact about to go right on ahead, and that he was in fact about to speak to her, all at the exact same time too. She then came to that realization all at once, as she then all of the sudden began to start to nod back to her father, all at the exact same time as well. It was now clear to FireStar, that his daughter was in fact paying attention to him, all at once.
FireStar seemed to feel a little bit better, now that it was that he did in fact realize that. He was just glad that she was in fact paying attention. He then all of the sudden did in fact begin to start to speak to her all of the sudden, all at once. He did in fact know that she was in fact beginning to start to listen as to just what it was that he even had to say to her in the very first place any ways, never the less.
"Relax SquirrelFlight... Every thing is going to be okay... We would know at this point, if the clans were not going to work... It just needs some time..." He said to his daughter, all at the exact same time as well. SquirrelFlight stood there, and she stared at him for quite a bit of some time. Even after just what it was that her father had in fact said to her, as she knew how wise her father was, all at the exact same time too, she still felt like she could not be all too sure about it all. She kind of just began to start to shiver all at once, all at the exact same time as well. She still felt like he had not really answered the main question that she had in fact asked him, all at the exact same time too, none the less. FireStar, being the smart tom cat that he was, knew that he had not answered her just yet, and he was just trying to calm her down a bit, all at once. He was also trying to think on some thing to say back to her, all at the exact same time too. He was at a bit of a loss of some words him self right now, if he was not going to lie to him self either. How ever, it eventually did in fact come in to his mind, all at the exact same time too, as he then all of the sudden did in fact begin to start to go on ahead, and he began to start to speak to her all of the sudden. He did in fact know that she was in still listening as to just what it was that he had to say to her, once again. "A new era means a new warrior code..."
