Chapter 25: Labor

It was silence until about half way back to camp, as I was not all too sure as to just what it was that I should even say to the apprentices. I was disappointed, and I was kind of scared of StallionPaw, if I was not going to lie to my self either. I knew that she was always at the lead of most of this stuff, all at the exact same time too, as she was always kind of the leader for all of the apprentices none the less.
I would have thought that it was going to be a good thing none the less, but that was just not the case what so ever in this current situation. It was clear that KettleStar had known that she was not from the actual clans, and that I had taken her in. Of course, a lot of cats had realized that at the last gathering, but no one had said a word about it, due to the fact that they all had assumed that she had been taken in before I had established the new rules.
I kind of felt bad about it all, if I was not going to lie to my self either, as I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, none the less. Now one of KettleStar's kits was in fact dead, all at the exact same time too. I could not help but to feel like StallionPaw was to blame for it, all at the exact same time as well, as I felt like there was going to be a lot of discussion for the fact that she might be kicked out of the clan, none the less. I really did not want to do it if I was not going to lie to my self either, but I also kind of felt like I might not be left with much of any other choice but to do what it was that I did in fact need to do.
It kind of hurt me, as to the fact that one of those young and bright kits had in fact been killed, all at the exact same time too. I could not help but to feel down, and have my head down when he had told me it, as I knew that he did in fact put the blame on me. It was in fact my fault, as I was the one that had in fact let the apprentices have a free day today, all at the exact same time too, never the less.
I just would not have thought that they would have gone to go and do some thing as stupid as that, all at the exact same time as well, as I was tempted to ask what it was that had in fact really happened to KettleStar, all at the exact same time too. I knew at the exact same time as well how ever, that he was already mad enough as it was, and I did in fact not want to push him any sort of further at all, none the less.
I also felt like if I was to ask the apprentices as to just what it was that had in fact happened, all at the exact same time too, than they would not tell me the full truth. It just did not make sense how ever, that the kits would do some thing as evil as that, as to just go out and kill a kit. How ever, that was what it was that KettleStar had made it seem like it was out to be, all at the exact same time as well, as I felt like there was no point in me questioning a single thing about it, never the less, once again.
I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, as in the end, I then did in fact begin to start to breath in quite a bit of a heavy sigh to my self, all at the exact same time too. SmartNight was in fact still with me, and I was not all too sure as to just what it was that I should in fact even do right now, all at the exact same time too, at that, never the less, once again.
As I kind of just stood there, and I did in fact stare with quite a bit of a blank look on my face, for just a little bit longer, I then felt like I might as well go on ahead and get it over with, just so it was that I would know what to say to every one, once it was that I did in fact get back in to the camp, all at the exact same time too, at that. I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at the exact same time too, as in the end, I then did in fact go right on ahead, and I decided which apprentice it was that I was going to speak to none the less.
In this case, it just so happened to be PepperPaw, as she did in fact seem to be the most trust worthy of all of the apprentices, all at the exact same time too, as I knew that I should not be biased and to ask StallionPaw, all at the exact same time too, at that. I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at the exact same time too, as in the end, I did in fact begin to start to speak up to the young she cat, all at the exact same time as well, none the less.
Once it was that the young she cat had in fact heard me say her name, all at the exact same time too, she then quickly began to start to turn her head over to me, as I saw her eyes were in fact quite a bit wide, all at the exact same time too. It was clear that she was in fact a little bit lost as to just why it was that I was in fact calling her name out right now, all at the exact same time too, which she did in fact have a bit of a fair point, as I was sure that she was in fact a little bit worried that I was in fact going to blame her.
I knew that she did in fact have a bad habit of getting her self in to a lot of trouble a lot of the time, all at the exact same time too, which I was sure that she was in fact well aware of that, none the less. How ever, that was not why it was that I was in fact speaking up to her, all at the exact same time as well, none the less. It was more just due to the fact that I knew that she did not lie all too much, and I knew that she would in fact own up to her actions, all at the exact same time too.
The she cat still did in fact have her eyes on me either way, all at the exact same time as well, as she still did in fact seem to be a little bit lost, and a little bit worried as to just why it was that I was calling out her name in specific, all at the exact same time too. She then did in fact how ever, in the end, go right on ahead, and she luckily did in fact nod back to me, all at the exact same time as well, none the less. It was clear to me that she was in fact letting me know that she was in fact paying her full attention as to just what it was that I was even about to go right on ahead and say to her in the very first place any ways, none the less.
Once it was that I had in fact seen her do as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time too, that was when I then all of the sudden did in fact let out quite a bit of a soft sigh of some sort of relief to my self all of the sudden, as I did my best to try to calm my self down, all at once. I then did in fact in the end, go right on ahead, and I then did in fact begin to start to speak to her, all at the exact same time too. I knew that of course, that she was in fact beginning to start to listen as to just what it was that I even had to say to her in the very first place any ways, as well, never the less.
"PepperPaw... Can you tell me the full story of what happened in Riverclan?" I said to her, all at the exact same time as well, as I immediately realized all at once, that she did in fact seem to be quite a bit relieved that I was not putting the blame on her what so ever, all at the exact same time as well, none the less. Of course, I could not until it was that I figured out any sort of information, all at the exact same time too, none the less.
I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, all at once, as in the end, I then did in fact go right on ahead, and I then did in fact begin to start to notice that all of the sudden, all at the exact same time too, that the other apprentices too did in fact begin to start to look over to her, and they too began to start to squint their eyes over towards her, all at the exact same time too, at that. It was clear that they did not want her to snitch on any thing, which meant that what ever it was that they had in fact done, all at the exact same time too, was clearly wrong.
I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at the exact same time too, all at once, as I did my best to try to pretend that it was that I had not noticed as to the fact that all of the other apprentices had in fact done as such a thing like it was that they had in fact just done, all at the exact same time too, once again. I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at once, as in the end, I did in fact begin to start to see that PepperPaw was now starting to have a little bit of a guilty look on her face, all at once.
It was clear that she did not want to lie to the leader at all, all at the exact same time too, but she also did not want to get in trouble from her brothers and sisters, all at the exact same time too, none the less. She simply seemed to stare down at the ground for quite a bit of some time, as in the end, she then did in fact begin to start to lift her head up to me, all at once. The guilty look that she had on her face long before now had seemed to all of the sudden go away, all at the exact same time too, as I was not all too sure if that was due to the fact that she was trying to hide it, due to the fact that she knew that she was about to lie to me.
Either that, or she was in fact going to go against what it was that her kin mates wanted her to do, all at the exact same time too, and that she was in fact going to tell me the truth on just what it was that had in fact happened, all at the exact same time too. Either way, I felt like I would know which way it was that she was going to choose, so I was not all too worried about it. I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, once again.
As the she cat seemed to look at me right in to my eyes for quite a bit of some more time, she in the end did in fact go right on ahead, and she then all of the sudden did in fact begin to start to nod back to me, all at the exact same time too. It was clear that she was in fact trying to let me know, all at the exact same time as well, that she was in fact about to go right on ahead, and she was in fact going to speak to me all of the sudden.
I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at once, as in the end, I then did in fact go right on ahead, and I then did in fact begin to start to nod back to her. I did my best to try to keep a calm look on my face, all at once, as I did not want to show any thing to her. I blinked my eyes a few times, all at the exact same time as well, as it was clear to me that I had in fact let her know that I was in fact paying my full attention as to just what it was that she was even about to go right on ahead and say to me all of the sudden, at that.
As soon as it was that she had in fact seen me do as such a thing like that, all at once, she then all of the sudden did in fact let out quite a bit of a heavy sigh to her self, all at once. It was clear that she was trying to calm her self down, all at the exact same time too. In the end, she then did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and she then began to start to speak to me all of the sudden, once again. I then did in fact of course, begin to start to listen as to just what it was that she even had to say to me in the very first place any ways, all at the exact same time too.
"We were just trying to scare the little kits... We just thought it was a game... But when they ran in to the river, we though since they were Riverclan cats, they could swim... But we were wrong... We tried to save them, but we could only save WildKit..." She said to me, all at the exact same time too, as I saw her dip her head a bit low to the ground, as I once again began to start to see the same guilty look that she had in fact shown on her face a few moments before now, begin to start to all of the sudden begin to start to pop up once again, now that it was that she had in fact reminded her self as to just what it was that had happened.
It was clear that her kin mates were not all too happy as to the fact as to just what it was that she had in fact just said, but they did not say a word about it, as they simply just began to start to speed up, as if they wanted to be back in the clan, all at the exact same time too, none the less. It was as if they wanted their mentors to know as to just what it was that they had in fact done, all at the exact same time too, none the less, which did not make all too much sense to me, if I was in fact going to be for real with my self, never the less, once again.
As I did in fact kind of stand there, and I did in fact kind of stare for just a little bit longer, I then did in fact begin to start to nod back to her. I was in fact about to go on ahead and start to squint my eyes at her, as to the fact that I was in fact a little bit upset as to just what it was that she had in fact said. It was in fact quite a bit stupid that they had in fact gone in to the Riverclan territory, in the very first place any ways, none the less, at that.
How ever, I also kind of felt like I could not be too mad about it either, all at the exact same time too, as I felt like it was in fact just simple innocence from them, as they did not know as to just what it was that they were doing. Perhaps that was why it was that KettleStar put most of the blame on me, rather than it was that he had blamed them for it, all at the exact same time too, as that was in fact beginning to start to make sense to me, all at the exact same time too.
I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at the exact same time too, as I still felt like I could not help but to curse at my self for being so stupid, all at the exact same time too. I was not all too sure as to just what it was that I was even thinking, now that it was that I did in fact come to think on it, all at the exact same time too, as I knew that it all was very stupid of me, and I knew that it all was in fact my fault, all at the exact same time too, at that.
I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at the exact same time too, as in the end, I then did in fact eventually begin to start to go right on ahead, and I then did in fact begin to start to nod back to the young she cat, all at the exact same time too, to let her know that I was in fact not upset at her, what so ever, as to the fact as to just what it was that she had in fact said. I knew that it all was in fact my own fault, all at the exact same time too, once again.
Once it was that PepperPaw had in fact seen me do as to just what it was that I had in fact just done, all at the exact same time as well, that was when she then did in fact nod back to me, all at the exact same time too. It was clear that she was in fact relieved that I was not all too upset at her, all at the exact same time as well. Though, I still felt like I did in fact need to have to find some sort of way to punish them for what it was that they had done, when ever it was that I did in fact get back to camp, none the less.
I kind of just blinked my eyes a few times, all at once, as in the end, I then did in fact begin to start to just begin to start to speak to the young she cat, once again. I knew that of course, just due to the fact that she had in fact began to start to nod back to me, all at the exact same time as well, that she was in fact clearly paying her full attention as to just what it was that I was even about to go on ahead and say to her, all at the exact same time too.
I felt safe about this all, all at the exact same time too, as I was surprised that even KettleStar had managed to keep his calm as best as he could, when it was that he had told me as to just what it was that had in fact happened, all at the exact same time too. I just kind of got my mind, and I kind of got my focus off of all of the rest of that other stuff, all at the exact same time too, as in the end, I continued to speak to her, all at the exact same time as well. I knew that of course, that she was in fact beginning to start to listen as to just what it was that I even had to say back to her as a little bit of a response, all at the exact same time too.
"Thank you for being honest with me PepperPaw..." I said to her, all at the exact same time too, as I did in fact want her to know that I was in fact grateful for just what it was that she had in fact said to me, all at the exact same time as well, none the less. I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at the exact same time too, as I then all of the sudden began to start to nod back to her, all at the exact same time too, never the less.
This time it was in fact more or less a little bit of a nod forward, to let her know that she should go on ahead, and that she should in fact begin to start to head over to just where it was that her kin mates were even at, all at the exact same time too. I felt like I needed to stay behind, and I needed to think all of this all the way through, all at the exact same time too. I knew that I needed to let the clan know that stuff like that was okay, but also the fact that I needed to apologize for my own stupidity, all at the exact same time too.
I also knew that I was going to have to do it at the upcoming gathering, all at the exact same time too, as I knew that for a fact, that KettleStar was not going to stop there, all at the exact same time too, as I knew for a fact that he was in fact going to bring it up to all of the cats that were in fact there, all at the exact same time too. It was for sure going to make me out to be a bad leader, all at the exact same time as well. As perhaps I was in fact a bad leader, if I was not going to lie to my self.
I did my best to try to calm my self down as best as I felt like I possibly could, all at the exact same time too, as in the end, I then did in fact go right on ahead, and I did in fact kind of just dip my head a little bit low to the ground, all at the exact same time too, as I then did in fact begin to start to continue to go right on ahead, and I followed the young apprentices back over to the camp, all at the exact same time too, as I did my best to try to calm my self down as best as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, all at once.
I kind of felt hurt about it all, as I was sure that KettleStar and OisterNose were in fact going to be going through a lot of pain after just losing one of their kits, all at the exact same time too. It had in fact kind of hurt me as well, as to the fact that he had in fact told me that me and him were no longer friends, all at the exact same time too, as that also kind of hit me quite a bit deep, all at the exact same time too, none the less, once again.
I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at once, as in the end, I then did in fact let out quite a bit of a heavy sigh to my self, all at the exact same time as well, once again. As soon as it was that I had in fact done as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time too, that was when I then all of the sudden did in fact begin to start to hear a voice of another cat, all at the sudden, all at the exact same time too, as they then began to start to speak up to me all at once.
I was a little bit lost as to just what it was that was even going on right now at first, all at the exact same time as well, until I then all of the sudden began to start to look over to the cat, all at the exact same time too. I noticed that the cat that was in fact speaking to me right now, all at the exact same time too, just so happened to be SmartNight, all at the exact same time too. I saw that her eyes were in fact quite a bit wide, all at the exact same time as well, none the less.
I kind of tilted my head a little bit towards her, all at once, as I was not all too sure as to just what it was that was even going on with her right now, nor just what it was that she was even doing right now, in the very first place any ways, none the less. How ever, in the end, I did in fact nod back to her, all at the exact same time as well, to let her know that I was in fact paying my full attention as to just what ever it was that she even had to say to me, all at the exact same time too.

I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, all at once, once again. I then did in fact begin to start to begin to start to listen as to just what it was that she even had to say to me, all at the exact same time as well, at that.
"Please don't blame those young cats... They didn't know any better..." She said to me, all at the exact same time as well, as I saw that her eyes were in fact wide as to just what it was that she had even said to me, all at the exact same time too, as it was clear that she was in fact letting me know that she was in fact being for real with just what it was that she had even said to me, all at the exact same time too.
I was in fact quite a bit lost as to just why it was that she had in fact said as to just what it was that she had even said, all at the exact same time too, as I kind of felt like I was the one to be blamed for all of it, all at the exact same time too, none the less. I kind of felt a bit bad about it all, all at the exact same time as well, as I then did in fact begin to start to dip my head quite a bit low to the ground, as a little bit of a response back to just what it was that she had even said to me, all at the exact same time as well, as I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, all at once, once again.
As I did in fact stare for just a little bit longer, all at once, that was when I then all of the sudden did in fact begin to start to continue to breath in quite a bit of a heavy sigh to my self, all at the exact same time too, as I was not all too sure as to just what it was that was even going on right now, in the very first place any ways, none the less. As soon as it then all of the sudden did in fact begin to start to come back to me, all at once, that was when I then began to start to lift my head back up over to SmartNight, all at the exact same time too, none the less.
I then began to start to look at her right in to her eyes, all at the exact same time too, as I saw that she did in fact seem to have been a little bit lost as to just what it was that I was even doing right now, all at the exact same time too, as I saw that she did in fact have her head tilted towards me, as it was clear that she also was in fact looking at me right in to my eyes, all at the exact same time too, as it was clear to me that she was trying to read as to just what it was that I might even be thinking, all at the exact same time as well, never the less.
I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, all at once, as in the end, I then did in fact begin to start to shake my head a little bit over towards her, all at the exact same time as well. I could tell that it did in fact only seem to confuse her even more, all at the exact same time too, as she then began to start to squint her eyes a little bit towards me, all at the exact same time too, none the less.
It then began to start to hit me all of the sudden, that I should in fact be a little bit more open as to just what it was that I had in fact even meant by that, all at the exact same time too. I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, all at once, as I then in the end did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and I then did in fact begin to start to speak to her all of the sudden.
As I continued to stare at the she cat right in to her eyes for just a little bit longer, all at once, that was when she then did in fact go right on ahead, and she then did in fact go right on all of the sudden, and begin to start to nod back to me all of the sudden. I felt a lot better as soon as it was that she had in fact done as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time too, as it was clear that she was in fact letting me know that she was in fact paying her full attention as to just what it was that I even had to say to her, all at the exact same time too, never the less.
As it was that I had in fact seen her do as such a thing like that, all of the sudden, that was when I then all of the sudden did in fact go right on ahead, and I then did in fact begin to start to speak to her, all at the exact same time as well, I did in fact begin to start to realize that she was in fact paying her full attention to me, all at the exact same time too, as well as the fact that she was also beginning to start to listen as to just what it was that I even had to say to her, all at the exact same time too, none the less.
"Well... I blame my self more than them..." I said to her, all at the exact same time too, all at once. As I did in fact say as to just what it was that I had in fact even said to her, all at the exact same time too, that was when I then all of the the sudden did in fact begin to start to see her dip her head a little bit low to the ground, all at the exact same time too. It was clear to me that I did in fact reach a bit of a valid point to her, all at the exact same time too, none the less, as it was in fact clear to me that she did in fact kind of blame me for it, all at the exact same time too, none the less.
I felt like at the very least, that it did in fact prepare me for the fact as to just what it was that it was in fact going to be like for the entire clan, all at the exact same time as well, as I did in fact begin to start to breath in quite a bit of a soft sigh to my self, all at once, as I knew that what it was that I was in fact even thinking about right now, never the less, was in fact going to be happening a lot sooner than it was that I had in fact expected.
As soon as it was that I had in fact began to start to realize that all of the sudden, all at the exact same time too, never the less, that was when I then all of the sudden did in fact begin to start to look ahead of me. We were in fact back in to the camp, all at the exact same time too, as there once again seemed to be some thing a little bit off about all of that, never the less. I was not all too sure as to just what it was that it could even be, if I was not going to lie to my self either.
It was clear that the camp was in fact empty for the most part, all at the exact same time too, besides the fact that there was in fact one cat that was in fact in the middle of the clearing, all at the exact same time too. I was in fact a little bit lost as to just what it was that was even going on still, if I was in fact not going to lie to my self either, all at the exact same time too. I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could either way.
Some thing seemed to be strange with the tom cat that I was looking at right now, as it was clear that he was in fact freaked out, as it was clear that he was in fact quite a bit scared, and he was in fact panicked right now, all at the exact same time too. The tom cat then did in fact begin to start to turn his head over to us, all at the exact same time too, as I saw that he did in fact notice us all heading in to the camp, all at the exact same time too.
He had the same worried and freaked out look that he had before, though I knew that it was not due to the fact that I was walking back in to camp with a bunch of guilty apprentices, all at the exact same time too. Know... This seemed to be some thing much different from it all, all at the exact same time too, never the less. I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at once, as I then began to start to see him look over to me.
I gulped as soon as it was that I had in fact realized that, all at once, as it felt like there was a lot going on as it was, all at the exact same time too. Last thing I needed was some thing else to add on to that, none the less. I did my best to try to calm my self down, as I saw that the tom cat, VioletNose at that, none the less, did in fact begin to start to nod back to me, all at the exact same time too.
It was clear that he was about to speak to me, and he was in fact going to explain as to just what it was that was going on in camp, all at the exact same time too, never the less. I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, all at once, as in the end, I then did in fact begin to start to nod back to him. I wanted him to calm down, and know for a fact that I was in fact paying attention to him right now.
He still did not seem to be calm what so ever right now, as he seemed to be just as freaked out as it was that he had been a few moments ago. Either way, he then did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, and he then did in fact begin to start to speak to me, all at the exact same time as well. I then did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what it was that he even had to say to me in the very first place any ways, never the less, at that.
"It's HailWind, MoonStar! She is going in to labor!"
