So the other day, me and Sam were bored so we decided to play a prank on Thor
We got a pin and taped it to the back of a door and blew up a balloon so when he opened the door it popped and scared him
It was rly funny but he also shorted out the power to the entire building so 🤷‍♂️

Once Rhodey and I just put a shitload of apples in Tony's lab
No reason, we just wanted to fuck with his mind and sanity
He had to clean them all up manually because DUM-E was malfunctioning and the rest of us were busy doing shit
We had to eat a lot of apple pie and apple sauce for nearly a month after that
Pepper and Bucky are pretty good cooks
They bond over that

My phone rings as the subway rocks back and forth at a stop.

"Hey." She says as soon as I pick up. "Just so you know Tony is going to try to ask you to join the Avengers. And he's going to be able to find out you still go to school pretty quickly."

"Should I just pretend I'm in college?"

"That's what I was thinking. Just deepen your voice a bit."

"It's really high-pitched." I agreed. "That's what May sometimes yells at me about. I sound like a little girl according to her. She's not wrong though." I pause, "Should I be worried?"

"About what?"

"Meeting them!" I say loudly and the person standing next to me turned and gave me a dirty look.

"Didn't we literally have this conversation about a week ago? They're just like normal people. Except smarter. Or stronger."

"Or scarier," I added. "Natasha scares me."

"She does that to everyone. Even though they're usually taller than her."

"I mean it makes sense, what is she, 5'4"?"

"She's barely 5'3". She usually wears combat boots so she looks taller. She's a whole foot shorter than Thor. It's really funny to see them next to each other."

"I bet."

"You have nothing to be worried about." She says, reverting to the original subject. "You've met them before."

"Yeah but as a nerdy teenager also known as your friend. This is different."

"Okay, you do you." She laughs. "But seriously, you have nothing to worry about. Tony seems excited to meet you."

"ThE tONy StArK wAnTs tO mEeT mE?" I gasp.

"Dude, don't make a big deal out of it. He's an idiot and a huge nerd."
