( Hey guys i forgot to update the other day, sorry! But anyways! I hope you all had a happy 4/13! I'm only in 7th grade and i wore my cruddy John T-Shirt and a bunch of 8th graders were like " Omg! I love your Shirt! Happy 4/13! " and " You'd make a Great Fem John or a Jane! " and i just got a lot of positive responses. I was so happy because this is my first 4/13 that i actually wore something homestuck related! anyways back to the story!)

I grunted and opened my eyes letting go of the relaxing serenity. Everything now looked dark and faded, even little light came from the windows. I sat up and stretched.

I didn't fall asleep did i?
I grunted and turned to the wall clock that was still illuminated by the small but of light.
11:26...

Crud. I wonder if Cronus is still awake, maybe, but then again, who really knows?

I stood up and stretched a little more before walking to the door and slowly opening it with a small squeak from the hinges. I sighed and took a deep breath before walking down the hallway towards the stairs. I stopped and heard noises from the television downstairs. He was probably watching that one human musical.

" Cronus? are you awake? " I stepped down a few more stairs before one creaked.
" Cronus? " I heard shuffling as he got off the couch and began walking towards the stairs until he could see me. The large foyer window gave us light from the moon to us.

" You ok Cheif? " I sighed and nodded before walking the rest of the way down the stairs.

" Are you hungry Kankri? " I nodded again slowly and looked up at him. In the first time in forever i realized how small i really am and how big i act to try and contrast from it.

Cronus grinned and chuckled as he looked at me.
" Got a mild case of bedhead there don't cha Chief? " My eyes widened as i flung my arm into the curly and frizzy mess. I guess i did fall asleep but, i never once bothered to look in any of the mirrors after all, My reflection didn't feel like me at all.

I gasped as o felt my cheeks begin to burn and a candy red painted my face.

" Oh, Kankri, forget i said anything. My bad, i know you don't like when people say things like that-" I grunted to kind of cut him off before speaking.

" N-No Cronus, its my fault that i look indecent within your home. I am truly sorry i will make sure to clean myself up next time. I am sorry that you had to see me like this. " He looked at me almost as he was in disbelief before he shook his head.

" No Chief. I was actually going to say... I-It suits you well and it makes you look adorable. " Now it was my turn to look at him in disbelief.

" Sorry it was out of turn to say that.. Forgive me but, aren't you hungry? " I felt my cheeks still burn even more but the color of them didn't fade; neither get more vibrant.

" Yes Cronus. And it is ok that you said that. I will graciously accept your compliment. " I heard my belly growl from the lack of real food in it.

" Well looks like your stomach agrees with you. So follow me please i made food earlier but you didn't answer when i called for you. "

" Thank you again Cronus, just for everything you are doing for me. " He chuckled and smirked.

" No problem Kankri. " I followed him into a dark room that looked like nothing until he turned on the light. Then i watched as he took something from out of the 'refrigerator' thing and put it in a small pot to cook. It had noodles and it was coated with a strange looking substance. It wasn't like spaghetti but it wasn't soupy but it has noodles and had broth. I sat down and looked around the room. medium, wooden table. Elegant paintings probably made by one of by the look of the signature being TZ.

Cronus soon put a bowl of noodles with a fork and told me it was chicken something. I was still tired so i zoned out at the end. As soon as i took a bite Cronus was at the fridge again.

" You need anything to drink? " I shook my head no. and soon finished the food with Cronus leaning against the counter and arms crossed. I stood up before i picked up the dirty dish and rinsed them in the sink.

" I will wash dishes and clean the house until i find a way to pay you for all of this. "

" No. All i need is your thanks. but was the food at least good? "

" Yes it was. Thank you Cronus, now may i have a glass of water for when i sleep? " He turned around and got me a glass then put ice in ait before filling it up with water.

" Consider my part done. " I sighed as he gave it to me before i gave him a small smile in thanks.

" I really owe you one Cronus.. " I turned around and walked back out to the foyer and up the stairs. Once i got to the top i heard Cronus call my name.

" Kankri? "

" Yes? "

" Goodnight. Hope you sleep well. "
