" Cronus? "

" Yes Cheif? "

" Where are we going? "

" My place. "

" Where do you live? "

" You'll see. "

" Why are we going to yours and not mine? "

" Karkat didn't have money to keep you alive so he sold the house to keep you alive... Ke kept everything in it though, so you still have stuff in storage. "

" Aren't we going to get my stuff from the storage then? "

" Eventually.. "

I nodded and sighed before looking out the window of his vehicle. The world was layered in a thick crystal white. Even the sky turned pale blue. The outside world seemed way different from last time.

No. Its not the world that has changed. Its me. Its been so long, since i've been awake to actually feel or do anything. Its not the world thats different, its myself.
Only because i feel like this is reality anymore.

I sat up straighter in the seat before looking at Cronus who sat straight forward with his eyes locked on the road.

" Cronus? "He hummed and looked at me for a second before looking back to the road.

" What happened while i was gone? "

" Ah, nothing much cheif just regular everyday. But everyone missed you. Karkat even cried. " I nodded.

" I didn't think he'd actually care that much to pay for all of the medical bills to keep me alive.. "

" Well theres no lie, I'm sure everyone would miss you in some way at least." I nodded and slightly smiled as the car slowed down and Cronus turned into the driveway of a large house.

" I guess i'll have to thank him later. "

Cronus nodded and parked the vehicle and whistled.

"We"re here. " He unbuckled himself and slid out the door. I was slower so by the time i got out he was already at the front door. I closed the door of his truck and walked up to the door, he opened it for me to walk in. I walked in and he closed the door behind me.

" You like it? " My feet scuffed the floor for the first few steps until i looked up at the dark violet foyer. The walks were headed more towards a magenta but the other accents of the room were either a darker violet, gold, dark green, black, or grey. I nodded finally replying to his question.

" Yes Cronus. Its lovely. " He smiled at he and walked to a staircase to the far left.

" Let me show you to your room. You must be tired. We'll get your stuff out of storage tomorrow so you can fix it how you want later. " He began to walk upstairs, i trailed behind him up stairs and down the right hallway till the end where he opened the door. The room was a dark grey with white curtains and a blue duvet adorn bed. ( Everyone slept in them now because it was much easier. )

" Thank you Cronus. "

" No problem. I'm going to go down and make some food. Come down when you're ready. " He walked out of the room and closed the door leaving me alone.
I uncovered the windows from behind the curtains before falling back onto the bed with a smile.

I can make this work. At least i wont be alone anymore.
