Chapter 19: payback

     Corvus got out of my body and went to the hospital's computer server to take a quick shortcut out of the hospital and went into a server where the private medical record files are stored. He looked through to find Kate the social worker's medical file so he could find her home address. He was successful in finding the right one and it showed her picture of her face and the address.

"There you are, you family homewrecking bitch." He said as he closed the file and came out of the servers and left the hospital.

Later...

   Kate was really pissed about being canned from her job and letting Audrey get away with it.

"That damn Wolf bitch getting me fired, one day, I will get even with her for ruining my life." Kate says as she went in her house and got on the computer to find jobs available to fill applications.

   
    What she didn't know is that Corvus is in her house already and he waits while she is distracted. After she filled out different applications for a new job she went to the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of whiskey and sat down to calm her nerves and anger. Just then, Corvus made his move and went inside her body. Kate drops her whiskey as she freaks out when Corvus tries to take control of her mind and body. Kate fell on the floor unconscious while Corvus controls her body and decided to get her framed to the murders.

   He controlled her body and grabbed the decorative knife that he hid before Shirou took Stan and Loona back to the city. Kate cleans the handle of it and only puts her finger prints on it. Kate got in the car and drove to the alley of the crime scene. The body was already gone but the puddle of blood was still fresh before it dries up. Kate put the blade in the blood and headed to the apartments. There weren't any cops around and the body was already taken away for an autopsy. Kate breaks in the room and rubs the decorative knife and plants it behind the bed where the detectives can find it.

Corvus then made Kate drive back to her home and knocked her out in the kitchen. He got out of her body and headed back to the hospital and went back into my body.

   The next morning, Kate woke up and was confused about what happened last night, and never remembered a thing. Just then, there was a knock on the door. She walked to the door and noticed there was a human and an anthro wolf cop at her door.

"Can I help you officers?" She asked.

"Yes, We have a warrant for you're arrest, since you are the prime suspect of the recent murders of Rick Lester and Wilson Hibachi." Said the human cop

"WHAT?! I DIDN'T DONE A THING OF THAT CRIME!" Kate shouted.

"There were prints of yours on the weapon that killed them. So put your hands behind your back." Said the wolf.

    Kate didn't cooperate and tried to resist arrest until she was pinned down.

"I DIDN'T DO IT! LET ME GO YOU PRICKS!" She shouted.

Meanwhile...

      Natalya came into my hospital room and sat next me, I was still in a coma and she hoped that I would eventually wake up. Shirou then came in since he did feel sympathy for me and was starting to trust humans a little.

"Ms. Stormbear?" He asked.

"Oh hey, Detective Shirou."

"Sorry about what happened to him. Just want to give my condolences." Shirou said.

"Thank you. I just wondered what will happen to him after he wakes up." Natalya said as she stroked my hair.

"I'm afraid that he will be taken to a mental institution since he tried to end his life, and his PTSD worsened to the point he might go insane. I tried to tell them that he doesn't need it. But I think it's for the best so he won't hurt himself or anyone else any longer." Shirou explains.

   Natalya didn't know what to say now since she started to cry and hug me. Shirou then saw my arms starting to move and I hugged her back.

"Nata..." I softly said.

"Stan?" She said with relief.

"Yes, What happened?" I asked.

"You're in the hospital and why in hell you tried to end your life?!" She shouted.

   I didn't know how to explain to her since I can't tell her I killed two people. Then she touched my face to make me look at her and all I could see were tears in her eyes.

"Why did you do it?!" She shouted.

    I looked down. I dropped some tears as well and she finally let go of me and tried to calm down.

After the doctor checked me out of the room, the nurses escorted me to a van that I'll be escorted to the mental asylum. I struggled and I didn't want to go but they carried me and pushed me in. I looked through the window and I saw my mom crying in Roxy's arms and Natalya and Dasha crying as well. I didn't want to go. I want my family. The van started moving and it will be awhile that I won't see my family anymore while I am locked in an asylum for the mental insane.
