Arjun and Rakshan reached the madurai airport in the morning. Thaatha was waiting for them outside.
"Tamilnatu mannula kaala eduthu vechittanda intha Rakshan." Rakshan exclaimed as they stepped out of the airport.
"Peraandiiiiiii" a voice startled them.
They turned to the voice and saw thaatha standing in open arms with a longing eyes.
"Meeeeesaaaaaa" Arjun shouted and ran towards him.
They shared a bone crushing hug.
"Epdi da irukka..."
"Naan nalla irukken thaatha.. Nee epdi irukka "
"Nalla irukken da..aprom thaadi ellam vech style aayitiye.."
"Apdi ellam illa thaatha.... Unakkum meesa konjam extra valanthurukk"
Thaatha laughed
"Deii... Haha... Evlo naalu achu da kanna unna paathu"
"Naanum unna romba miss pannen thaatha... Aana ini 1 maasam unkooda thaan..aama veetla ellarum epdi irukaanga "
"Ellarum unakaaga thaanda waiting anga"
"Hello! Naan oruthen inga irukken" came a voice from behind.
"haha.. Deii Raksha vaada.. Epdi irukke??" Asked thaatha.
"Ponga thaatha.. Ungalk unga perana paathathum naan vendam la??"
"Deii... Neeyum enak peran thaanda.. Sollu epdi irukka.. Un appan enna solran?"
"Avarukk enna inum robo maathiriye irukkar aana Naan supera irukken thaatha" Rakshan said.
" seri vaanga.. Veetukk povom anga un paati periyamma elam kathirukanga.. Velu intha luggage ellaam eduth car la vai pa "
They drove to their house. Arjun and Rakshan were sighting the paddy fields in either side and clicking photos of it. They were mesmerized by the beauty of the village.
"Yen thaatha.. Namma ooru madurai la thaan nu sonninga aana airport la irunth ivlo dooram vanth irukkinga?" Rakshan asked.
"Madurai thaanda aana namma ooru konjam ulla irukku.. Konja dhooram ponum " thaatha answered.
"Ohh seri thaatha"
Soon they they reached the huge mansion and was shocked to see a whole village there.
"Enna thaatha ith oru oore irukku" Rakshan asked amused as their car entered the house.
"Ellaam namma oorkaranga.. namma sonthakaranga thaan... En perana paaka vanthirukkanga"
"Ivlo sonthakarangla??...Dei macha apo unakk ethana atha ponnunga iruppanga??" Rakshan asked.
Arjun glared at him.
They stepped out of the car and everyone started greeting him. Lakshmi paati came with a plate and took arthi of him. While his periyammaas stood there with tears brimmimg their eyes. They touched his cheeks and caressed his hair. Arjun who was overwhelmed with their love and care slightly teared up. They let them inside the house and made the duo sit on the couch.
Rakshan who watched this whole scene got too emotional and had happy tears. He had seen arjun from his childhood and he know very well that how his best friend missed his family. Arjun never let his father know his yearning for his family as it may make him feel guilty.
The ladies went inside to bring him sweets. While Thaatha was chatting with some villagers outside who greeted him earlier.
He roamed his eyes around the house and saw the "cousins gang" Ammu, Sakthi and Seetha looking at him from a corner. He smiled at them but they soon went inside the room. He was confused at their behaviour.
