"Hello Sire, thank you for making time for us." Stella responded.
"I had time, it's not an issue. Please, what can I do for you?" Patrick said.
"You are aware of Rains curse. Correct?" Stella asked the Grandmaster.
"Why yes, I am. I have already ordered our Researchers to find a cure." Patrick responded not knowing what Stella meant by that, she was the one who informed him about Rains curse. Why would she ask that?
Stella takes a breath
"The research and efforts are in vain, as there is a cure already in existence. Not many know about it." Stella paused before continuing to talk.
"The mystic forest houses The Coven, A clan of witches with prowess of the mystic arts. We'll go there to purge his curse." Stella turned to Rain shortly before turning back as Patrick started to speak.
"You've heard nothing from them Since the undead reign. They are far isolated and the dangers that await you are unknown!" Patrick wasn't fond of the idea of sending two very valuable members off for hope. At that moment, Rain took a step forward.*
"We have to take this risk!" He said determinedly.
"And save you again?" Patrick snapped back at him.
"A-Actually-" Abigail started stepping forward. "This might be the only way Rain could be saved the Withering effect can not be stopped with the current scientific methods." Abigail attempted to argue with them as Patrick stood up pointing at her. With a raised voice he said.
"You are the one responsible for this. Not to mention that I was thinking about executing you just hours ago. You have no say in this matter!" Patrick said outraged by the fact that Abigail tried to involve herself.
"Leave her out of this." Rain said angered.Abigail already took a few steps back, the words Patrick said made her feel very uncomfortable.
"What are you without a Dragon, Dragontamer." Ser Patrick shouted back at him.
"Silence!" Rain shouted.
"You speak like zombies or an obstacle, but I alone have faced far more powerful foes than these walking corpses you speak off." Rain said as he gave a looked at Abigail shortly before looking back at Ser Patrick.
"Relax-" Stella said being amused by the fight.
"We're more than capable of putting up a fight. Don't worry about us sire." She tried to calm the tension.
Patrick would look at his table, then back at Rain and Stella.
"Urgh, Your call-" He gives in.
"But this time!-" He said in a raised voice
"I won't be held responsible for anything that happens to you, Dragon tamer. You better get back here sa-" Ser Patrick tried to say as Rain fell in his word.
"We will get back here Safely." Rain said determinedly. As Patrick seated himself back down, Stella, Rain, and Abigail made their way out of the Office. While walking Stella said.
"I will be heading of to my room and prepare for the departure tomorrow." As she walked off into a separate hallway."Abigail?" Rain said as the two walked.
"Yes, Rain?" Abigail responded.*
"You don't need to feel guilty, Patrick is just worried about us and you just said things at the wrong time." Rain tried to comfort her.
"I-I will go get some rest, see you later Rain." Abigail responded as she walked into a different hallway.
"Wait!" Rain shouted after her.
"Hm?" Abigail turned curiously.
"I-I have something to show you. Follow me." Rain said as he waved her over.Abigail would follow him into his room. Once there, Rain would approach a large chest and open it. In it was the 'Ruby Thorn' the weapon Abigail used to weald while she was still known as the Nether Princess. It's peak was glowing dark red.
"When I regained the strength to walk again. I pulled it out of my chest. I didn't know what to do with it. And I didn't want to forget you, so I took it with me." Rain said as he kneed down to grab the spear. Once picked up. He turned and approached Abigail, holding the weapon in two hands.
"It belongs to you." Rain said as he offered the weapon to her.
Abigail was seemingly surprised to see the weapon, she would freeze for a second not knowing how to respond. She grabbed it, swung it around for a second, and placed it on her back.
"T-Thank you, I did not expect to see it again." Abigail answered. "But why did you keep a weapon, which inflicted so much pain to you?" She asked shortly after in a lowered voice.
"It was the only thing I could take with me. And the pain it inflicted onto me was nothing, in comparison to the one inflicted onto me by... " Rain was silent for the second thinking. "...having to face you. In this dual." He proceeded to say. They both just stood there. Not knowing what to say.
"I-I will go back to my room and sleep for a bit. I'm sorry." Abigail said as she walked off, closing the door behind her.
