My version of the story, Rain

Part 11 | One soul safed

As Abigail and Stell arrived they checked on Rain, Abigail kneed down and held his hand.

"He is cold as ice." She said to Stella.
"Take a step back." Abigail got up and walked behind Stella.

Stella looked at the book and started the spell. Rains body started floating, shining in white light. After a few seconds, the white light faded and Rain stopped floating. He was now fully visible, his black marks, as well as his eyes, returned to their normal color.

"RAIN!" Stella shouted as he kneed down to him once more.
"Wha-What happened?" Rain asked. As he tried to get up

*As Abigail was taking care of Rain, Stella fell on her knees, exhausted from the fight and spells. Abigail helped Rain stand back up as they walked over to Stella.

"Are you fine Stella?" Rain asked.
"Yes, yes. I'm just a little bit tired." Stella replied.

Rain helped her back up as Abigail grabbed the book Stella dropped shortly after conducting the spell. The three moved back to the buildings where Stella and Abigail just fought against Infernus.

At this point it became nighttime. They arrived and made a fire, they used wooden logs as seats and rested. Abigail leaned Ruby Thorn against the log and set down in front of it, she took a deep breath while gazing at the stars above knowing. That they made it.

"Hey Rain, how are you feeling." Stella asked after resting for a bit.
"I am feeling so much better since you cured me I can really feel my strength picking up once again." Rain told her. "And how are you feeling?" He added.
"I am alright, just a bit exhausted. That book, we should take it with us. It contains a lot of spells even I didn't know about. It could be of great value to us in the future. Could you give it to me, I'd like to read it a bit more." Stella asked.
"Sure." Rain said as he handed the book to Stella.

Stella began reading the pages of the book. In the meantime, Rain walked over to Abigail, she was still looking in the sky as Rain approached her.

"Hey Abi." He said.
"Hey Rain." Abigail replied.

She would move to the side and make space for Rain to sit next to her. Rain smiled at her as he set down next to her.

"Do you have something on your mind?" Rain asked her.
Abigail would lower her head and sigh in regret.
"You can talk to me about anything. Please, you can always trust me." Rain continued to say while looking at Abigail.
"... While I escaped the Nether, I tried everything to cover up my survival. I killed anything that spotted me, and now... It's gone." Abigail said.
"What's so bad about it?" Rain asked in confusion.
"I fear that Naeus will try to take advantage of me, I... I fear that I put all of you in danger." Abigail said.
"I will not let this happen to you Abi, I won't let him close to you. I promise." Rain said to Abigail.
"Thank you Rain." Abigail said as she looked at Rain.

Rain and Abigail would both look up into the night sky watching the stars glow as suddenly, violet light and loud noise could be heard from within the Forest.

"What was that!" Stella asked while she got up.
"I have no idea." Rain said as he got up and drew his sword.
"Let us go and check it out. It could be a danger." Abigail said as she grabbed the Ruby Thorn. "Please don't let it be anything bad. It just started looking up." Abigail thought to herself as the group started walking in the direction of the sound.
